Midas Auto Service Experts
I've been going to this Midas shop for years. The techs always take me out to my car and explain what's wrong with it and what it'll take to fix it. I've had to fix a lot on this car:( I've never had a problem with anything they've done. The female owner even gives me a ride to work while my car is being serviced. I would recommend them to anyone.

Brainerd Automotive
Would not use the small engine repair service again. I took an item over to get an estimate so I could determine if I should fix it or replace it. I never got my estimate, but got an $85 charge for labor. They claimed to have taken 2hrs to fix the item. I need some auto repairs but I won't be taking my car to Brainerd Automotive. Consumers beware!

Ask about any discounts before you drop car off or before the car is finished. I was told that there were discounts but I was supposed to ask before the bill was finalized in their system. I did not know that it worked like that. I will take that as a learning experience. Many businesses will discount if a customer pays cash to avoid the 2-5% service fee from a card provider. FYI. Always ask for a discount. I was not above asking but timing seems to be of importance relative to the establishment.

Precision Tune Auto Care
I had a wonderful experience at the hwy 58 store. The GM and AM bent over backwards trying to find a part for me for the lowest price possible and the cost blew me away. Keep up the good work

G & S Collision Center
5 Star hands down!I scratched my door really bad about a year ago and didn't get around to fixing it until recently. It started to rust and I thought it was going to be expensive and a pain for it to be fixed. I dropped off my car to John and he said he would take care of it for me. And he did! He was very helpful and courteous and had my car back to me within 2 days. I was extremely impressed because my car looked brand new! The paint job was also done really well!Nice staff, great service, and amazing outcome! I will go back to G&S next time I need body work done. Highly recommend this place!

Terrible service. I went there to get my catalytic converter replaced, and they told me that my car also needed a tune-up. I thought to myself, "I'll just get the tune-up later." However, what I did not know was that if I did not get the tune-up, the catalytic converter would be immediately ruined when I drove my car. Now, I am out $400 and they will not give me my money back. They were also very argumentative when I went in to talk to them about it, completely convinced they were right and that I was wrong, and would not even consider giving me a refund.Edit: The manager did call me again and she said that the company where they get the catalytic converters would replace it for free because of "good customer relationships" with Midas, but they said I would have to pay to have the catalytic converter installed (again). I felt a little like this was penny-pinching. So I am not completely satisfied with their solution, and they will definitely not get one more cent from me after this. However, I am relieved that I was at least able to get part of my money back.

Brothers Automotive
My family and I have used Brothers Automotive for about 20 years. I trust them. They are extremely reputable & always explain what's needed. If several costly problems need to be addressed they prioritize the most problematic and if reasonable to wait on others they tell me. They are dependable & do a great job at a fair price.

Parker's Brainerd Citgo
Parker's Citgo saved the day for me! I was in Chattanooga on my way home to Murfreesboro for my son to receive an award later that day. My van unexpectedly began to have trouble. I pulled into Parker's Citgo in tears fearing I would miss seeing my son get his award. I explained the situation and the owner and mechanics worked quickly to obtain the needed parts and repair my van. Thanks to Parker's, I was able to make it to my son's award event right before it started. I can't thank Parker's Citgo enough!

Took my car there for servicing. They backed another customer's car into mine. They would not admit fault or provide insurance information.I was treated very rudely. Sorry I went there.
Tips & Advices
Roofers commonly use certain supplies to handle the task of roof repair. A scaffold or a shingle lift is often used to access the roof. Roofers wear hard hats, and they typically wear soft-soled steel-toed shoes that protect their feet and provide optimum traction. Roofers use basic equipment such as caulking guns, paint brushes, electric or cordless drills, wheelbarrows, pop-rivet guns, power brooms, power spudders, shovels, backpack blowers, and high-pressure washers.
Certain supplies are needed when performing a do-it-yourself roof repair project. Working on a roof can be dangerous, and a safety harness with a rope and anchor point is essential equipment if you want to help prevent a fall. You'll also need a ladder, roofing nails, a crowbar, a utility knife, a tape measure, a chalk line, and a hammer.
Algae-resistant roofing shingles are shingles that have been specially built to resist algae growth. A common method for accomplishing this involves including copper granules in the shingles during the manufacturing process. Algae growth can cause unsightly black streaks on your home's roof, and this may lower your property values.
It can take less than a day to put on a new roof, but it could take as long as several days if the roof is large and complex. Weather conditions will also impact the length of time required for this task, and wind, snow, or rain will slow the process.
In general, the average lifespan of a roof is 20 to 25 years. However, the lifespan of your home's roof will be closely linked to the roofing materials used. Roofing made with asphalt shingles can last 15-30 years, and a metal roof may last 30-45 years. A roof made with concrete tile could last 35-50 years.
