YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

Dr. Rubin has been our family's vet for many years. He has been there through some tough illnesses and still remembers all of the names of the pets that have past on. I trust his opinions and diagnosis and even though he's a bit of a drive for me now, will continue to bring him my pets.

My family and I have been using this animal hospital since 2008. The staff is wonderful and the vets are the best. They have 2 late nights so we can come in after work if need be. The prices are within reason and a little lower in comparison to some other vets we have tried in the past. Most important, you call tell that the entire staff really cares about the animals. They also have a boarding kennel right beside the hospital. We also love their Facebook page posts!

Top notch Doctors and staff who gave amazing care to my very sick cat, Halloween. Thanks to Axy at the front desk for her help and the wonderful doctors, all of whom helped to put my mind at ease over what was a very, very sick kitty. Clean, bright, welcoming. It felt right the minute I walked in. Highly recommended.

First, I would like to say if there were more stars to give, I would. I moved to the Charlotte area a little over a year ago with both of my children (2 rescue mutts). Being a cautious parent, it took a lot of research to find a place that would provide outstanding care to my two dogs. I remember my first visit with my large, and clumsy hound mix. He had torn his paw in my backyard during one of his daily romps with my other dog. I'll never forget the vet at this facility getting down on his belly nose-to-nose with my pathetic looking dog to make him feel more comfortable. \r\nRecently I was put in an sticky situation an hour before heading to work when I stumbled upon a stray dog in my backyard. I immediately called this clinic. They were so understanding and extremely caring for this little guy, knowing I had to work. I was floored by all the love and care they provided until I was able to pick him up from work. My hat is off to you, Dilwoth Animal hospital. To all your staff, and all your care. Thank you. You have a forever customer.
15.Commonwealth Animal Hospital
1909 Commonwealth Ave
SCAM and neglected my pet. My 8 year old Maltese fell off my 3 ft high bed in the middle of the night. I could tell right away something was wrong. I would be leaving town the following day and planned to leave Riley with a sitter- but wanted to know how to best treat him. Commonwealth is not my regular vet but they were the closest and had an available appointment (I now know why). Dr Shebel was very sweet and listened to my concerns. She ordered x rays- and found that his hip was dislocated- I immediately thought that it could be put back into place- but Dr Shebel immediately recommended me to a 3rd party orthopedic surgeon Dr Hasse. She said I would hear from him in about 48 hours. When I didn't hear from him I called Commonwealth several times and Dr Hasse from my work conference. I heard back from Dr Hasse 6 days later- he called me from the blue tooth of his car- I could barely understand what he was saying- but I did hear the surgery would be upwards of $1000. While waiting for Dr Hasse's call- I sent the ex -rays to a veterinary surgeon friend of mine who is out of the area but has been a vet for 30 years. He said the vet should have immediately put Riley under and put the hip back into place within 24 hours- instead at this point a week later Riley had already developed a 'false joint'- the surgery Dr Hasse was recommending was considered 'salvage surgery'- much like surgery performed on dogs who has been hit by a car- very invasive. I took Riley to a second local vet and which confirmed my vet friend's diagnoses. It's odd to me that Dr Shebel referred me to a third party vet and that he took so long to respond- long enough that the hip just couldn't be put back into place. This would have been the least invasive procedure for my pet. I can't help to think that there is some kind of money scam here- I KNOW that my dog's health was certainly not the priority. Asking around about Commonwealth after the fact I have heard SOOOO many similar stories. I'm not sure how this place is still in business. If you love your pets find a different vet.

I have been looking for a coupon for local vets all day. I ran across YP.com for Sharon Lakes Animal Hospital which had two different ways on how to get coupons for them. When I called they said they had no idea what it was about and put me on hold for a while. Then said they had no idea it was on there and they do give low prices on their on-line pharmacy. When I told them my dog needed dental work the lady said oh long pause and that was it. You would think that she would have given me information on their clinic. They were not helpful and not knowledgeable on their business as far as advertisement went. They get one star for answering the phone.

25.Harris Boulevard Veterinary Clinic
5710 W W T Harris Blvd
I adopted an 8 yo Beagle and found this clinic online. For 1-1/2 years, we were treated like family. Gracie was seen by Dr. Horton, Dr. Cheeseman and Dr. Loveless. and received the best of care by all. Sadly, I had Gracie put down last year and Dr. Cheeseman tried to prepare me. She thought Gracie was older than I was told, and knew she had serious problems. When I took her to be put down, it was the most loving and compassionate service that ever could be offered. One of the nurses put a blanket on the floor so that I could hold Gracie, and while I was trying hard to keep it together, Dr. Cheeseman let her tears flow as she administered the cocktail to Gracie. Now I have another 8 yo and of course we go to Harris Blvd. Vet Clinic.
5105 Piper Station Dr
The death of a pet is always difficult. We at Piper Glen Animal Hospital do everything we can to provide the best possible care to all the animals we see. As in human medicine, there are instances where diagnostic tests that we do not have available to us need to be done at a specialty hospital in order to make further recommendations. Once we have consulted with the specialist, our doctor can formulate a treatment plan. In the absense of such information the doctor did all that was possible given the available facts and circumstances.
27.Fluke Mary DVM
2110 Ben Craig Dr, # 100
Both Dr. Fluke and Dr. Greene are wonderful doctors. We've gone to them with all three of our dogs for six years. We have been to others who felt they needed to muzzle our pets or seemed afraid of them, but never with these two. They have great intuition with animals and put them at ease. Dr. Fluke is also an expert on training puppies. Our dogs are treated like family and we are as well. We would never take our babies anywhere else!
