YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

I don't know why this places gets such a poor rating. My daughters and I love this place. It is a really fun place to go with your family and it is cheap. I get to roller blade without having to worry about rocks and breaking my neck and my 3 daughters have such a great time. They beg to go here. We go by some fast food and a night at the rink and they just luv it.

A few weeks ago, I looked at the Extreme Ice Center event calendar and saw that they had public skating on the night of January 26th which was when I planned to take some friends there for a small birthday gathering. Today is the 26th and they no longer have public skating available which totally messed up my plans. Extreme Ice Center is a beautiful rink, don't get me wrong, but since the events on the event calendar are "subject to change", I have learned to no longer make plans on going skating there since the event calendar is extremely unreliable.

Tuesday nights at Fryes are a combination of roller derby, smash up derby and keep-away. It is dollar night on Tuesdays and the place is packed, but very lax on order. It is a good place to get a younger, inexperienced skater run over. The floor guards are excellent at socializing but allow chains of 6 giggiling girls holding hands to wipe out anything in their path and people are now turning backflips in a rink that once sat kids down for skating backwards in the center.... The energy is fun and there are several good skaters to watch, but beware with a beginner...WIPEOUT!!

I have been going to Kates since January 2013 and WOW what a tremendous difference the owners have made in this skating rink. The place has been repainted with new neon paint murals on all the walls, new HOT carpet on the floors with kangaroos, bathrooms have been updated and maintained, novelty shop; OMG could not keep my kid out of there from wanting to spend money. They have really cool skates displayed for sale. The employees were extremely nice and the DJ played games a few times during the session and gave away prizes too. The party room had been remodeled. It was full of Saturday birthday parties and everyone appeared to be having a good time. The owner was even out introducing herself and asking if there was anything the birthday parties needed they did not have. Unfortunately my entire family was there the night the fellow mentioned in a comment here states he was badly profiled should be ashamed of himself, because it did not happen that way. Thank you Kates for increasing your value for GREAT family fun. I have returned many times and will continue......
