I originally entered my pre approval online april 29th, the manager scott touched base with me quite a few times before he finally called on friday the 2nd and said now is the time to come in, i was approved and they were also doing a deal on trade in's. This was great timing considering that i owed 6500 on my jetta when it was only worth 4000. When i walked in scott matched me with Carlos and said he will take care of you. Carlos did every bit of taking care of me and my needs and wants in a vehicle. Unfortuntly my credit score isnt thay great and i was upside down on my at the time current vehicle. We originally looked at the 2015 cx-5, it was my original goal to get a compact suv but after sending in the deal it was going to be way out of my price range monthly, they worked and attempted to tweek the deal in every way possible to get it to work for me, they dropped the price of the car drastically and even added 3 thousand more than my trade in was worth. I was unsure with the deal so they suggested we look at something smaller. Carlos did a great job of explaining the pros, cons, advantages, monthly gas cost and any future mechanical cost i would be looking at. At no point did i feel like i was being taken advantage of, carlos was concerned with my very concerns and this made the process much more pleasureable and stress free for a young woman that in any other case would be taken advantage of. After about 6 hours of weighing out my options and being explained my range with my credit score in detail i decided to get the 2014 mazda 3, it had some of the good features i was looking for and was in a better price range for me. Paper work was a flash with chris and moe working as a team to get it done yet explaining it at the same time. They also didnt shove anything down our throat that was unnecessary which was appreciated. Also wanted to point out that Carlos is a saint, along with chris and moe as well i have a 2 year old daughter who is usually somewhat of a burden to someone trying to conduct business of course but carlos treated her like a princess letting her hold his phone to watch a clip from frozen and showering her with goodies like cookies and balloons. Our experince at mazda of south charlotte was great because of many factors and i will be sending everyone i know there because they can work out anything for anybody. Thanks for my new car mazda i LOVE it :))

Amin made this process the best experience i've ever had at ANY car dealership. For years our family has been buying cars from Merecedes, Land Rover, BMW, and Audi in Charlotte, and the service and interaction we received at CAI has gone above and beyond anything else. I was recently in a car accident in which my Audi was totaled, and I found my Volvo XC90 on Auto Trader, which was at CAI. I called to see if they still had it, as it was priced extremely competitively compared to all of the other XC90's I looked at. Amin was not by any means pushy, or like that of any other used car dealers. He put the car on hold for me until I was able to come over the next morning and see it. The car is IMMACULATE! One thing that I loved about CAI is that they buy most of their cars out of Florida, which means that they have never been driven in salt or snow, and generally never exposed to the elements that a lot of cars are. The car was spotless, and as soon as we got there, he got us the keys and let us take it on a drive by ourselves, and didn't press a time in which we needed to be back; which was so nice. When we came back, I knew that I loved the car, and we made a deal in minutes, no back and forth, just plain and simple. He was great in explaining the car's history, along with its features. I felt like it was a friend selling it to us, and I never felt as if I was being pressured or rushed into it. CAI has it down to a fine science. Later that day, we came back with a deposit, and he was great about working with us since the insurance hadn't paid out yet. I can't stress enough how professional and sharp these guys are, they really blow all other car salesmen out of the water. I would strongly encourage anyone to go to CAI and take a look, they are the only place I will be buying my cars from in the future, and I am still absolutely blown away by this experience.

Mobile Auto Rescue
After reading this company's reviews online, I called the owner, Lorenzo, to install a fuel pump on a 1996 crown vic. I told him we used a mobile mechanic last year to install a fuel pump on my son's car, and the gas gauge stopped working after they installed the pump. Lorenzo assured me he knew how to install a fuel pump without affecting the gas gauge. We agreed on 10:00 am,4/24/13. he was 10 minutes early, very polite and had purchased the part I needed. It took him about an hour and 15 min to installed the fuel pump. I paid him $100/pump +$100/labor. The car ran fine, unfortunately, the gas gauge stopped working and my "low fuel" light worked intermittently. I called Lorenzo back, told him the problem and he refused to accept responsibility. He said it must have been like that before he worked on the car. I called another mechanic to fix it; he said the arm got stuck, he stated it's a common problem while installing a fuel pump. It was a simple fix- it took him less than 20 minutes to correct. My gauge works perfectly now. I told Lorenzo I wanted 30% of the labor cost back I paid him, since I had to pay another mechanic to correct the gauge. He stated he would call me the following morning (4/25/13). I never heard back from him. While Lorenzo did a good job installing the pump, I can't give him 5 stars because of his lack to correct a simple problem and his refusal to accept responsibility for the mistake. (we all make them). I was not going to hold it against him; I just wanted him to leave the car in the same condition he found it in, not worse condition. If someone else has a similar problem, I would recommend, Ronnie @ (704)777-4419.

I previously had another local body shop 'repair' my 2014 vehicle under an insurance claim and after 2+ months of paying out of pocket for a rental car, my car was returned to me in worse condition than prior to the accident. My engine and airbag lights were now on, my AC did not work, and the replaced bumper and fender were not painted. I felt taken advantage of and certainly did not want to take my car back to the first shop for the corrective repairs. After reading several good reviews on the internet I came across Parks Chevrolet and took my car to Ken Morrison in the Collision Center to assess what would be needed to get my car back to its pre-accident condition. Ken was not only empathetic but seemed genuinely willing to help considering the situation I just went through with the first shop. Due to a misunderstanding (on MY part) after my first corrective repair I wrote a bad online review of Ken and the shop. Ken contacted me the very next morning and instead of being angry about the nasty review I wrote, he offered for me to bring my car back in so that he could try and determine a fix for my issues. He was just as friendly and down to earth the second time as the first, and even corresponded directly with my insurance adjuster to get the repairs covered under a supplemental payment. Ken made a personal effort to turn an aweful situation around for me and for that I will forever be grateful. I can't take back the first review I wrote, but I can tell everyone I know going forward about the Collision Center at Parks Cheverolet and the honest work ethic & great customer service offered by the manager Ken Morrison.

Town and Country Toyota
Service department is sub-par. I took my Tacoma in for the first oil change today (@ 4500 miles on the odometer). I called ahead to verify that the service department wasn't busy and told the assistant service manager that I was coming in for my first 5,000 mile oil change. After driving to the dealership I was told that the oil change wasn't necessary until 10,000 miles because Toyota puts synthetic oil in Tacomas. Now why wasn't I told this on the phone so I wouldn't have to drive in?I was skeptical that Toyota would put synthetic oil in a Tacoma, so on the way home I called three separate dealership service departments (N. Charlotte, Concord, & Scott Clark) and each one told me that the Tacoma takes standard oil and it indeed does have the oil changed every 5000 miles, contrary to what Town and Country service department indicated. I contacted Town and Country's service department manager who verified that they indeed made mistake, so they owned up to it after I caught their error. But a simple error like this doesn't inspire confidence that they can fix more complicated issues. On a sidenote, you can tell if your vehicle takes synthetic or standard oil by the oiil fill cap. Standard oil will say 5w 30 on the oil cap. Synthetic will say 0w 20.

Dynamic Auto Tune
I recently moved out to North Carolina from California to attend college at Duke. I brought with me my car, a 2010 BMW 335i. Throughout the cars history I have done all the non warrantied repairs and upgrade myself and I am not quick to let someone else work on my car.After browsing the Internet I stumbled upon Dynamic Auto Tune and thought I'd give them a try installing an aftermarket intercooler as I don't have the tools or space to do it myself due to living in a dorm. They did a tremendous job and I was very pleased with the work and it only got better. I returned about 3 weeks later to get performance brake parts installed as well as a fuel pump upgrade done. They did a tremendous job and I left the shop happy but as I began to leave my car started flashing a check engine light and had low power. I returned to their shop quickly and was able to catch them before they left as it was 9:30 and the shop was closed. They stayed open for me for another hour and a half and figured out the problem which had to do with the tuner I was running on my car. The owner even bought me food while I waited and there was no extra charge for the extra labor. I will continue to bring my car to this shop as long as I live in North Carolina.

Trotter Auto Glass Plus
I shattered the rear window in my Honda Pilot and began to search online and by phone to find a local replacement service. I spoke to many glass companies including a few that did not replace rear windows and asked them for recommendations. Trotter Auto Glass came up more than once so I called Laura and she was extremely pleasant to speak with and answered all of my questions about the replacement window. So I had my insurance company contact her for the repair. 3 Hours later Mark shows up at my house and after speaking to him for a few minutes, I could tell he was very knowledgeable, had 20 years of experience and was a great guy. He took his time and did a very very thorough job and was very detailed oriented. He was very careful to ensure all of the small pieces of glass were cleaned out of the back of the car, inside the rear door and on the driveway. I have dealt with other, much larger glass companies before, but Mark and Laura of Trotter Auto Glass was exactly what I was looking for in a local, friendly repair service. I would very highly recommend them to anyone needing an auto glass repair for their friendliness, promptness and quality of service. I am a very satisfied customer.

Town and Country Ford
I had an excellent experience from start to finish with Town and Country Ford on Friday, when my wife and I purchased a new 2016 Focus. For starters, the salesman, Carl Ralston, was very attentive. He handled all of the credit paperwork with me over the phone, so when my son and I (my wife didn't want to be troubled) got to the dealership later that evening, all that was left was for my trade to be appraised and for me to pick out a car. The trade appraisal was spot on, and the car that Carl helped me pick out was exactly what my wife was looking for. The finance manager, Russ Herzlich (sp) found us financing that met our needs exactly, and less than an hour after we got there, I was driving my wife's car home. She did have come back the next day to sign her paperwork, but she was done before they could get the car cleaned!!!! I couldn't have asked for a better experience overall. This was the second vehicle that I have purchased from Carl, and I will continue to do so!

This is the only time in my life I`m over 50 yrs. that I applied online and got approval that was actual approved!!! All the other times it was just a ploy to get me into the dealership so I could sit for the next 6 to 8 hours waiting to find a creditor to except my application and I never got the vehicle that I went after. So if your looking to purchase a vehicle this is the place and people to go to. If your up front with them about your income and you have your down payment these people are going to put you in the vehicle that you want period. Give them a couple hours and you will be on your way! The sales staff was very friendly and knowable and your never left sitting in the corner while the easier customer pass you by.I don`t think you will find a car dealer that even compares to these people. I give them a 10 out of ten, if and when I trade again it will be with Drive Time. Yes I do recommend them to anyone. Thank you again Drive Time.

In 2011, I came to East Charlotte Nissan to look for a used car for my "soon to be"18 year old son. Troy Moffatt was the sales person who took the time to show me my options and how I would save money and have the warranty coverage that I needed. Vince Campbell (finance) ran down some numbers for me making it clear to me that getting a new vehicle was the best option for me. I purchased the new Nissan Altima 2012 instead of an older used vehicle. Exactly a year later - with only 5k miles on the vehicle - I came in for an oil change and NOW my son has a brand new 2013 Nissan Altima - which has better features than the 2012. I have been driving my old SUV since 2008 and I now also have a 2013 - Nissan Morano. Troy Moffatt made this happen for me in 2012 and again in 2013. He was very trust worthy and that means so much to me. Especially when it comes to my son! Thank you East Charlotte Nissan, Troy and Vince! I love my new cars.

Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
