When I purchased my first home in 2009 I knew nothing about heating and air. However, when my A/C went out in the middle of summer I was referred to Rudy Cools, and they did not disappoint. My A/C unit was fixed within 24 hours, and even better, I was educated about my system so I could understand how it works and what repairs had to be done any why (my compressor went out). The price was right on and the technician and owner were very professional.
Rudy Cools came to the rescue again this winter when my exhaust motor went out (great timing, huh?). It turns out the person who built my home a few years ago went with a shady HVAC company, and they installed a furnace that was 15 years old! The Rudy Cools guys were able to get my heater up and running within 24 hours and also educated me about the old system that was installed.
I don't like spending money on things like heating and cooling, but I have been fortunate enough to find a company that I can trust in Rudy Cools when the time comes. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs any sort of HVAC work done. In June 2010 I contacted Rudy Cools about installing an energy efficient HVAC system that met the guidelines for both the federal tax credits and the state rebate requirements. I also contacted Sears and Home Depot for estimates. Not only did Rudy Cools give me the best price but they did all of the research and filled out all of the necessary paperwork for me to get the credits and rebates. Their competitors not only weren't informed about these programs but they provided misinformation. When it came to the installation Michael and his partner provided exceptional service and informed me about everything they did. Their work passed Matthews code inspection on the first try! Since the installation our energy bills have dropped 30% to 50% on a monthly basis. Mike came to my home on time and repaired my heater with no parts and charged a reasonable rate. I would highly recommend and I will use them in the future.
Rudy Cools defines "true service". They recently repaired our system and the technician actually educated me on where my money was going. He explained the problem and told me what can prevent it from happening again. They are the most sincere service company that i have ever dealt with. I left a message and as the recording promised I received a call back right away. They could have come the same day but I could not make it so they came the following morning. Within two hours of the time I placed an emergancy call Michael was knocking at my front door - that included a 45 minute commute. He quickly assessed the problem, then he took me up into the attic to show me what had caused the problem. He also answered many questions I had in order to make my AC/Heating system more efficient and offered alternatives. He was prompt, honest, curteous and advised a system addition that was in my best interest as a homeowner and not necessarily in his best interest as a business man. We had a friend who had a relative pass recently and we agreed to take care of other family members for them while they were away. Our upstairs AC unit went out and Michael accommodated us by rushing out to make the necessary repairs. He not only fixed the unit for a very reasonable price but also thoroughly explained what happened and went above and beyond to check other parts of the system. We are very thankful to him for doing this for us. He has our business for life and I highly recommend him to others.

Our air conditioning went out on a weekend. I called Rudy Cools , and Michael called back very promptly, and was at my house in a couple of hours. He is very personable and easy to talk to. He was also very reasonable with his rates. We sat down and discussed what needed to be taken care of now, and what we could take care of later,and he was very good at explaining all of this. Michael was here within a couple of hours on a Saturday night. Reasonably priced, very nice and helpful. Was able to explain the problem in a way that I can understand and best of all, got my house cooled down!
