YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

I have been a frequent customer of the Ballantyne Zapata's for the past year and a half. By frequent, I mean I am there at least twice a week, and have been there up to 5 occasions in one week! It is my favorite restaurant ever, and having lived in 5 different places in the past 6 years, I have been to my share of restaurants trying to find a decent one. A sort of trial-and-error process, I suppose. Then in October 2007 I found Zapata's when I was out doing some marketing for my place of work and was positively floored. \r \r I sat at the bar while I waited for the owner to arrive and spoke with the bartenders, who took excellent care of me and talked to me as if we had been friends all our lives. Every time I walk in now, they greet me with smiles and hugs, they greet me by name, and know exactly what I want to drink. I have also gotten acquainted with many of the other regulars and it has taken on a feel somewhat like ""Cheers."" This surprises me because I always figured the Ballantyne area would be really stodgy as most upscale yuppy havens are. Not the case here! You can walk in with jeans or dressy clothes or even sweats after a long day of painting and decorating your apartment. Come as you are!\r \r As far as the menu goes, I recommend the Arroz con Pollo and the Southwestern Quesadilla. The only thing I have had there that I haven't completely loved every time was the Shrimp Tacos, which can sometimes be the best dish on the menu, but depending on the chef you may get burnt shrimp or too much lime in the chipotle sauce. (If you have an aversion to lime like I do that is a problem!) \r \r I have made many friends there over the past year, and would recommend it to nearly anyone. The only real con of the place is if you will be drinking the tab can get a little high. I don't mind paying that little extra, but some folks do. Nico and Victor make amazing drinks--and try the Crystal Ball when you are there! \r \r Bon Apetit! Or rather, Buen Provecho!

Our waiter Oscar took very good care of us - making the table-side guacamole just how I liked it (even though he teased me for not liking onions).\r \r The fajitas were served sizzilng hot and with plenty of flavor. \r \r If it wasn't for the very loud birthday party celebration at the table next to us it would have been perfect.

Salsarita's is great Mexican for downtown. The food is very fresh and hot, and the service is good. Just make sure you are prepared to order...they will push you through the line very quickly.\r \r As far as downtown goes, this is a competitor to Johnny Burrito. JB has slightly better flavoring, but I think that Salsaritas tastes slightly better because it seems more fresh. Also, unlike JB, they are more than happy to take any form of payment. Add to that a nice environment to site down and eat, and Salsaritas is a great place for downtown lunch dining.

Recommended by a work colleague, stopped by for dinner this evening. little issue with the language barrier when first walking in, but after the chips and salsas arrived it was all good. Let start with the salsa, the pico was the chunkiest, when so well with the chips, the hot salsa, had chunks itself. I ordered the casa asada, which was tender, you could cut it with your fork. We started with the spicy shrimp, and these required a little work to cut out from the shell, but oh so goos with the chilled veggies it was with. My friend ordered the polla asada, tender and a great kick to them. Dessert sopa pillias..yum!
