Lighthouse Neuromuscular Massage Therapy
I did some research and chose Lighthouse Neuromuscular because I needed something beyond the spa experience. I have experienced chronic pain in my neck, back and knee and after years of medicating, surgeries and physical therapy, I believe I have found a knowledgeable therapist and certified personal trainer in one. I can cut my costs and reap twice the benefits from my former treatments. I have had many, many massages and massage therapists, but Anne has been by far the very best I have used. She is wonderful and I highly recommend you give her a call if you are looking for a massage therapist that will really help you relax and feel better. After meeting Anne I was able to stop going to PT three times a week (big savings financially) and I feel better than I have in ages. Thank You Lighthouse!

Massage Envy - University
Normally I don't write reviews but for whatever reason this particular incident really irritated me. I was given a gift card for a one hour massage (70 bucks or so) and set an appointment to use it. The guy was 10 minutes late for my massage, everyone else who had an appointment at the same time started on time. This really would not have irritated me so much except he ended the massage the minute it his 1:00 (my appointment was for noon). So he was late and therefore I paid for an hour and only got 50 minutes, essentially the same as me burning a ten dollar bill. I believe his name was Dan, not really sure but either way I will probably never use this location again (I should note, the massage itself was good, he just screwed me on the time).

Thomas Chiropractic Clinic
Having been a patient for many years Dr. Thomas has efficiently treated back pain, joint pain, and even muscle pain. I'm a relatively big guy at 6'4 and a little more over 200 lbs than I'd like to admit and no other chiropractor can make all the adjustments he can as well as he can. He helped me through a major herniated disk and saved me from spinal surgery. As a skilled acupuncturist he even relieved me of a severely brushed tail bone that was previously a reoccurring issue for many years. Finding a good chiropractor can be tough but when you find one who is also a full service health center it is worth sharing.

Curatio Spa & Rehabilitation
My husband was having horrible migraine headaches and total back pain. After reading the reviews in their website I decided to schedule a massage for him with Billy. Since I had never had a massage myself, I decided to do a couples massage. What a wonderful first time experience. My husband felt better that first day and we decided to get a pre-paid package deal [great deal!!]. We have since been several times and Billy, Deann & Najmah are wonderful!! We liked it so much that this year we are giving our customers a 60 minute gift certificate for them to discover this wonderful place. Thanks Curatio.

Jessica is awesome! She is not only a highly skilled massage therapists, but she also is skilled in other wellness disciplines, especially MEDITATION. I enjoyed one of her sessions today. It was the very first time for me, and if you want to totally learn how to control your thoughts by taking a meditative journey, she is the one. Her voice is so calming and the british accent just makes you feel like you are anywhere in this world. Her sessions are helping me to deal with a stressful event in life. If you need help escaping, I STRONGLY SUGGEST that you call Jessica Peach at British Massage!

Essential Therapy
I have been going to Essential Therapy for several years now because I have significant neck, shoulder and back issues left over from a car accident and 30 years of athletic abuse to my body. I've tried many massage therapists over the years, but Laura and Becca are by far the best. They don't give you the warm fuzzy massage that you would get (and pay more for) in a spa or one of those franchised massage places. They are pain management specialists who get in there and work out your issues so you actually feel better. I can't say enough good things about them!

Essential Therapy
I have been seeing Laura at Essential Therapy for almost 7 years. I will also get a session with Becca as well, just to mix it up. I tell everyone about them because they are AWESOME. I have chronic neck/back issues and have recently become more of an 'athlete' and need extra help in relaxing my sore muscles! They know how to work all the kinks out. The deep tissue session really makes me feel better and I highly recommend the company to everyone. Go for the hour and a half session - it is well worth it!!!

Thomas Chiropractic Clinic
We love Thomas Chiro! Dr. Thomas brought relief to my pregnancy aches, my husband’s sports injuries, and my kids’ colic and earaches. He’s the first one we head to when we’re not feeling well. We’ve used the different kinds of therapy the office offers- acupuncture, ultrasound, and mild muscle stim to name a few- with great success! The staff is great and Dr. Thomas is a down to Earth guy who actually wants you to get better. Definitely recommend.

Tips & Advices
At the first appointment with a physical therapist, Expect an overall assessment of your condition, which may include exercises to understand your range of motion, balance, and strength. Based on that information, the therapist can then design a regimen.
Physical therapists can work in a variety of environments. While many choose to work in a physical therapy clinic, others will operate out of hospitals and are also able to make house calls to help patients who need in-home assistance and rehabilitation.
Physical therapists can specialize in sports medicine, women's health, geriatric, neurologic, orthopedic, pediatric, and cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions, among others.
See a physical therapist following a serious muscle or bone injury, especially if pain doesn't go away within a few days, is recurring and dull, or is frequent and sharp. Book an appointment if medication is not helping or if your doctor recommends it.
The majority of health insurance plans do include physical therapy treatment, but the amount covered and the co-pay for patients varies person-to-person. Medicare and workers’ compensation both cover physical therapy.
