Law Office of Todd E. Gonyer, PLLC
Best lawyer in Charlotte. Definitely recommend for your law needs. My case was dismissed and I walked away with money saved in my pocket my license still in good standing and no jail or probation... He actually cares and listens to your case and gets the best results every time.

The Law Office of Matthew T Marcellino P
Matt Marcellino is one of 3 attorneys I have had to go to. He, by far, is the most personable person I have ever met. He is direct, up front with costs and if you accept his direction will stay with you until the end. He cares about his clients. Although my situation was of least importance this man was there. He goes above and beyond the call and - as I told him - he doesn't fit the "description and jokes" of an attorney. I only wish he practiced law in all fields of the profession!!!

Sperry Law Firm
Terrible communication, unprofessional, no accountability with their staff. Amanda Phillips is horrible. If she is your paralegal, please ask for someone else. I followed all of her instructions only for her to come back and say that is not correct. Sent her a document and she emailed the next week stating she was still waiting on the document I sent her the previous week. Emailed her numerous times and called twice and no reply. I called to talk to a mgr or the owner and the receptionist sent me to Amanda who DIDN'T answer. I called right back and they ignored my call. I used a different phone # and they answered on the 2nd ring. Unbelievable. And these are professionals who we are suppose to trust with our private, personal information. I have been highly displeased with their level of incompetency, unclear/lack of communication & unprofessionalism. If your realtor OR lender refers you to this lawyer, please run the other direction. It will be a nightmare. Unanswered emails, no call backs, ignored phone calls, & incorrect information.

Coulter Janice V
I was very impressed with Attorney Coulter's pro-active approach concerning my case. She is a very practical, informative and passionate attorney that is well respected among Family Law attorney's in the area. I would not hesitate to retain Attorney Coulter again and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking the services that she offers.

Roberts Law Group PLLC
Our teenage son was recently accused of sexual assault. We believed in his innocence, did our research and found the best lawyer that money could hire. We were not disappointed. The Roberts Law Group wasted no time and jumped into action. I will never forget the joy I felt in my heart when I received the call informing me that there would be no charges made against our son. This practice is very efficient and receptive in every way. I highly recommend this practice and would give them 10 stars if I could.

Law Office of Christopher A. Connelly
I've needed Christopher Connelly's services on two occasions. After using his services the first time and having far better results than I expected, I knew that he would be the best lawyer when I required a lawyer for the second time. All I had to do was supply the information he needed and he took care of the rest.

Law Office of Todd E. Gonyer, PLLC
Todd handled my speeding ticket on 485 without any issues. I was going 87 in a 70. Oops. He is a great communicator and provided me with everything I needed to know. He was able to get my ticket reduced to "improper equipment". I paid my fine to Todd's team and they took care of the rest. A seamless process! Thanks Todd.

Roberts Law Group PLLC
We trusted Patrick to defend our son against very serious felony charges. We have never had troubles with the law, and this experience was a nightmare, and all new to us. Patrick carefully and thoroughly explained the road that lay ahead, and although it took four long years to reach a conclusion, he was able to get the charges reduced to a misdemeanor with no jail time. Through all these years, my son's trust in Patrick never wavered. Patrick went above and beyond to dissect the case piece by piece in order to uncover the truth. I truly believe most attorneys would not have gone to the lengths that he went to help my son. If you are in need of a criminal defense attorney, I cannot recommend Patrick Roberts highly enough. I will thank God for him every day for the rest of my life.
Tips & Advices
Some immigration processes can take months or even years to resolve. USCIS posts an online list for each field office that shows current processing times for common applications, such as ones for permanent residency, citizenship and proof of citizenship. These estimates provide a sense of the current backlog. An immigration attorney will usually monitor these timelines for you and communicate any updates.
An immigration lawyer might request copies of numerous documents, including a birth certificate, passport, letters from employers, proofs of address, income tax returns and photos/correspondence with family (if you are applying for an immigration benefit via a spouse or family member).
Yes, if you want them to. While an attorney cannot directly answer a USCIS agent’s questions, he or she can provide support and clarification during the interview. Having an attorney present is generally a good idea if you are involved in a complex immigration case.
Yes, for applications such as an adjustment of status (for example, going from a tourist visa to a green card) and citizenship, it is usually a good idea to agree upon a fixed rate that covers all paperwork and responses to evidence requests. This can save you money compared to an rate based on billable hours.
Fee schedules vary significantly depending on the case type. Immigration lawyers usually charge for both the required application fees from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and for their services. Longer, more complex cases such as deportation defenses are more expensive than simpler matters like completing a citizenship application.
