East Charlotte Family Physicians
Absolutely love everything about this physicians office. The staff (including the Doctors) are so very caring, understanding, polite, patience, helpful, curtious. I love this Doctors office and staff. Myself and my family receive excellent care there. Nothing but the best, and that can be hard to find sometimes.Move here from out state tried a couple of other practices. Tried one was very disappointed and dissatisfied with service, care and patient and customer relationship, they were all about fiance, no co-pay money better go to the hospital er. Tried second practice their office functionality and procedures military like and the functionality and office procedures were more important than patients. Late a couple times can come back any more throwing there schedule off.

Steele Creek Family Practice
On one visit I signed in at 10:45 AM. At 1 PM they realized I had not been seen. The front desk, had forgotten to tell the doctor I was there. Yes I would go up and say how much longer, I have to get back to work, And the answer, Have a seat, the doctor will see you shortly.I was checking out after my visit. She said we will call you with the lab results. I sad no do not call, mail them. (They did not have my new phone number). Three weeks later a letter arrives saying "we have been calling you and can not reach you!!" Please call us for your results. I guess it was to hard for them to mail the results with the letter like I asked to start with. Doctors are 5 star. Front desk is no stars.

Dr. Jeffrey A. Ditesheim
I went to Dr. Ditesheim because I was looking for a surgeon close to my home and to give me great results as well. The second you walk into the office, the staff greet you and they're all so friendly and make you feel like your really going to be taken care of. Meeting with Dr. Ditesheim was a great thing as well. He's very professional and thorough about his practice and explains how he's going to do the surgery. The nurses are very friendly and easy to talk to as well. I can definitely say I'll be recommending Dr. Ditesheim to any one of my friends who are considering any cosmetic surgery.

Raad, George L, MD
Dr. Raad is EASY the BEST doctor in Charlotte by far and I have seen a LOT of doctors in my days. He is VERY compassiate, caring and outgoing. He is the only doctor that "REALLY" seems to care about me and actually spends time with me and listens to my concerns and is ALWAYS open to suggestions to help with my care. His office staff is ALWAYS friendly and caring. Overall if you need a WONDERFUL caring doctor that is like a "old fashion" type doctor then Dr George Raad is your doctor, just tell him Jeremy Moffett sent you. Thanks for reading my review, Jeremy :)

I would not trust any other Dr. This man has ment the world to my family and I. He and his staff will forever have a place in our hearts. He has seen us all laugh, cry and fall apart. He is very proactive and doesn't candy coat things. I know if I ever need anything I can go to his office and it will be taken care of with no questions. He took on my failing parents and gave me an extra 3 years with them (that I shouldn't have had). He helped fight for the things we needed when no one else cared. I can't say enough good things about this man.

Elizabeth Pediatrics
We have been with Elizabeth Pediatrics for almost 16 years. They are angreat practice who take the time to know the families of those they are serving. With weekend hours and 24 hour call line, this is a must. We have been with them through growth and moving offices and they never skipped a beat. We drive nearly 50 minutes to see them we believe in them so much. If you want a doctor without convictions or just to treat-em-and-street-em, go elsewhere. If you want a doctor's office that has principles and cares, call them up.

Carmel Family Physicians
My family has been with Carmel Family and Dr. Marc Lewin for over 20 years and he is by far one of the best doctors in town. He is kind and caring. My husband had numerous health issues and every specialist he sent us to was top notch in their field. The day we found out my husband had cancer, Dr. Lewin personally called the oncologist he wanted my husband to see and we had an appointment the next day. My husband passed away 3 years ago, but I continue to see him. He is an awesome doctor and has never steered us wrong!

Dr. Robert McDonald, MD
Over the past six months nothing seemed to go well. They do try to get you to use their PA, since seeing a Dr takes longer. They referred me to radiology and the machine was down when I got there. Last visit the computers were down. Today I had to wait on the phone 45 minutes, got an inexperienced receptionist who eventually hung up on me since she didn't understand what I needed, even after many repeats, spelling it out for her, and multiple explanations. I now have a new family practice as of today.

Dr. Robert McDonald, MD
I have been going to Dr. Adam Ligler for two years now and I have received EXCELLENT care in both a critical situation and consequent follow ups. My first visit lasted over an hour with the Dr. and his nurse. They were very attentive and provided a high level of diagnostic evaluation and treatment plan. His RN, Carol has always been very compassionate and responsive each time I have called the office. I cannot say enough about the partnership of care and concern they both showed for my care.

Dr. Neal Stephen Taub, MD
I have been a patient of Dr. Taub's now for several months and he is very caring and very understanding of my pain and asked me of what pain medications that I have been on in the past that worked the best for me. He put me on a great pain management program and he is my hero. I also love his German Shepard which is friendly and a beautiful dog. Dr. Taub's staff is wonderful and professional also. Thank you Dr. Taub.
Tips & Advices
An osteopathic physician practices a comprehensive form of medicine that takes a holistic approach to a person's health. Instead of specializing in one system or set of organs, an osteopathic specialist focuses on the health of the total body. This includes evaluating environmental factors that affect a person's well-being.
Many family doctors deliver babies, especially in rural areas without a nearby OB/GYN. However, most family doctors only deliver for low-risk pregnancies and do not perform cesarean sections.
Family nurse practitioners are highly educated nurses able to provide medical care individually or with the assistance of another professional. Family nurse practitioners obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then take the National Council Licensure Examination to begin working as a registered nurse. Then, they continue their education and obtain a Master of Science in Nursing. Following that, they become certified in family practice via the American Nurses Credentialing Center of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, allowing them to become certified family nurse practitioners.
Some family doctors provide immunizations while others do not. Typically, doctors who work as part of a large practice are more likely to offer vaccines in-house. Doctors in offices of one to two physicians are more likely to refer patients to a public health department or other immunization provider.
A physician's assistant is a person qualified to perform routine medical services. This individual is professionally licensed and certified, but they may not have the extensive med school education of a doctor. That said, PAs do complete almost three years of postgraduate study and more than 2,000 hours of rotations.
