A Custom Painting
Just had Terry and crew pressure wash 2 story 3000sq foot home, repair drywall seams and paint 18x24 ceiling. Great communication, very reasonable pricing and quality work. Already recommended to neighbor for pressure washing and Mom's home too. Both completed timely and an excellent job!!!

Action Painting Pros
My father recently employed Action Painting Pros for many painting and handy man projects at his home. They stripped the garage floor and repainted with epoxy to achieve a high end decorative look. They were not allowed to drive into the garage for 3-4 days for the floor to cure/dry. After parking in the garage for 4-6 weeks the paint has come up where each tire touched the floor. The problem is he has called Action Painting 6 to 7 times over the past two months and could not even get a return call. This painting job was very expensive and he fully expected Action Painting Pros to stand behind their work as they said they would. Final notice was given at 8:30AM on 6/21/17 to schedule a visit to assess the situation and come up with a plan of action. They were told if they did not receive a call back by noon that day we would have to resort to social media. A call back was received, however now three more weeks have passed with zero action. No one has come out or followed up. It is pretty sad service when you pay $1,500 to paint your garage floor and the paint is coming off after the first 60 days. They were very engaging prior to and during the work, however now that a problem has come up they are non-existent and invisible.

McDuffie Construction, Inc.
I hired this company to build a new home for me and all I got was a lot of headaches. I kept getting a lot excuses due to weather and a false promises. The owner does not know what he is doing an left the materials on the job for months and refused to provide me receipts or evidence on how the fund are used. Please do not waste your time or money with this company. Do not hire this company, avoid the headache

Ameri Pro Paint & Restoration
I had been searching for a company to assist in repairing a painting mess another company had previously done. After my grandmother and I contacted Phoenix we were put at ease. Phoenix and his staff completed the job we had discussed and delivered the best painting job we had ever seen. Even cleaned up and put back furniture just like it was before. We appreciate all they did and would recommend Ameri-Pro to anyone and everyone.
Tips & Advices
For a long-lasting paint job, a clean wall is crucial. Ask how they plan to clean your walls, if at all, before getting started. A high-quality company will thoroughly prepare a wall so that the paint will lay smoothly and last a long time.
Yes. A well-established company will have more experience and likely more references for you to reach out to than a new company that's just getting off the ground. Be sure to ask for references so you can speak to former customers about their experience working with the painter. When speaking to these people, ask about:
  • Whether they had issues with the crew
  • If the painters were messy or neat
  • How the paint has held up since the project was completed
The quality of the paint will affect how good the walls look when the project is completed. If your contractor says they plan on using a paint you don't like, feel free to request an alternative.
If the contractor makes a point to train new hires on safety techniques as well as quality standards on the job, you're probably in good hands.
Unfortunately, there are plenty of cases where a painter has stolen items from a home or caused damage to the house or injury to the homeowner. Subcontractors may not be as skilled as employees, and the contractor you're hiring may not have much experience working with them, making them more of a risk. Additionally, ask if the painters are employees or subcontractors, and what the screening or hiring process is like.
