Custom Car Stereo
Great experience with custom car stereo. This review will be a little lomg, but worth a read to see why going through custom car is worth it. I had a jl sub and rockford fosgate amp installed by these guys a few years back. Long story short the amp started putting out dc power to no fault of custom car which blew my amp and sub. The sub had warranty but the amp was a couple months past warranty. Custom car pulled a few strings and got rockford to get me a new amp for free and didn't charge me a cent for install. Then over a year later, same thing... amp put out dc power, but this time only the amp blew. Now it was a year and some change out of warranty and they had already replaced mine once. Nick spent hours on the phone and made a few calls with some friends he had made at rockford when he went to their plant in Arizona. He got them to again give me a new amp for free. Mind you this is a nearly $300 amp. Idk how he did it, but custom car/Nick saved me $600 worth of amps that I couldn't have gotten without their connects. Also, shout out to their customer service guy AJ. He really knows his stuff and is always super helpful when i come in there. Very thankful to custom car.

Custom Car Stereo
I went there to fix an installation that was done by another company,I told them what kind of music i like(house) and my budget , they gave me a price that was good for me and i left my car there.after an hour they call me and explained me what's wrong with my system. It was a long list of bad things that was done to my car but the worst was the mounting of the sub to the back of the seat where all the batteries are located (its an hybrid )they had to replace 2 of my new speakers and another 2 parts that i don't know their name , build a custom made piece to make it look good , mount my tweeters IN the doors (not like the other company that dril it to the door).with all the extra work and time that took them to work on my car they didn't charged me extra $,According to them: they set a price withe me and that's what they will charge me , the extra work that they had to do is because they can't let a car leave their shop and not look perfect !Now how can you beat a customer service like that ?!!Thank you Eli aboudaram

I have had previous tint work done on all my vehicles. I was referred to CCS and I was impressed with the professional attitude of employees. Very knowledgeable staff, explaining benefits of the difference types of film. It is obvious as to why they are considered the best window tint provider in the Charleston area! I would recommend CCS to everyone! I am committed to having any future cars tinted there!

Tips & Advices
A capacitor is a two-terminal electrical component that is able to store energy, thus they are often found in power supplies. They can be especially important in a stereo system because they can exhibit frequency dependent behavior. What this means is they can be tailored to be used as noise filters to reduce the appearance of a frequency, or they can be used to enhance it. This is particularly effective in differentiating and isolating the ranges in a subwoofer and a tweeter, and in filtering out the potential noise or feedback from the power source.
Most aftermarket speakers are compatible with your factory stereo system. There can be exceptions, for instance, if you have speakers that need extra amplification to drive them to maximum performance, such as large subwoofers, your factory deck may not have the power to drive them adequately. They will play, but not to their potential. Basic speakers should be able to plug right into most standard decks. Factory stereo systems have evolved dramatically over the years and can even meet or exceed aftermarket products.
To install a basic car stereo you will need a minimum of tools. First you may need a puller to remove the existing deck (if there is one). Usually it’s just a thin bar that hooks onto the unit to pull it out. Once the unit space is established, you will need crimpers and wire cutters to strip, connect, and crimp the wiring units (to the speakers and to your power source). It’s a good idea to use connectors for the wiring contacts. It is a simple and basic process. In some cases, you might need some additional basic tools like screwdrivers if you are mounting anything or customizing the dash.
With a basic knowledge and minimum of tools, it is not theoretically difficult to install a car stereo. It is even easier is you are replacing the old deck because the wiring for the speakers and the power source are already in place. Most existing units can be pulled easily from the dash and replaced quickly. This of course depends on the sophistication of the system and the skill of the installer. If no modifications are necessary, it is not an overly difficult or complicated process. There are many sources of information and instructional videos available on the internet to guide you.
A subwoofer is a speaker that is designed to produce sounds on the low end of the audio scale. Subwoofers are usually paired with tweeters, speakers that produce sounds on the higher end of the audio scale, to create a balanced sound.
