Riggs Family Dental
Riggs family dental truly provides a high quality dental experience in a professional atmosphere. From having fillings done, to root canals, and crowns I always feel at ease when I have had work done by Dr. Lopez. He really is the absolute best dentist I have ever seen because he is very skilled in the work he does as well as he is trustworthy. During procedures, I have had done he has always made sure that I am doing okay and am comfortable, never does he rush anything. I have been going to this office for a while now and I love how I am shown what the best treatment plan is for me personally and what the best order to do procedures in is for the best results. Never once have I felt uncomfortable in this office; from Dr. Lopez to his staff members the experiences I have had with this company rate way beyond a five-star rating. Going somewhere I can feel comfortable and where the staff is highly skilled is a tremendously remarkable experience. Never once have I felt like I was being told I needed work done that I did not actually need or like the staff was just there to make money. It is a very welcoming practice and I am certainly going to continue being a patient at Riggs Family Dental. If you want to feel this way also, I would highly recommend you become a patient at Riggs Family Dental if you need any dental work done. You will feel great about your experience and the work you have done, as well as feel more confident in your smile. I am truly blessed to have found this practice, thank you Riggs Family Dental.

I CHALLENGE YOU TO FIND A BETTER DENTIST OR DOCTOR IN ALL OF AZ!!!Excellent care in all areas:Appointments and staff1. The staff at Dr. Higgs is the nicest around. They are always willing to do whatever it takes to fit you in and get you an appointment right away. They really treat you like family and always welcome you with a smile. It amazes me that they remember little details I tell them about myself and what's going on in my life. 2. When you arrive to your appointment, you are immediately brought back--no waiting around in the lobby!!!! Whooo-hooo!! Once you are brought back, you are immediately seen. The Dr. is impeccable at staying on top of his schedule. The Doctor1. Amazing!! All around great guy! He's charismatic, friendly, and immediately puts you at ease. He's gently and kind to his staff.2. Despite the e-x-t-e-n-s-i-v-e work he's done on my teeth (I've even had to put under IV sedation for a procedure once because I CAN NOT tolerate dental pain) I've never had to go home with a prescription for pain medication. It was amazing. Zero pain following extensive work like that is unheard of. 3. The Dr has even called me personally following procedures to see how I was doing. As I said, truly amazing guyThe Results1. Amazing smile2. Perfectly aligned, sparkling white teeth3. Happy me!!NO ONE hates driving in the valley more than myself yet I drive 45 minutes to see Dr. Higgs. I won't even date a guy who lives that far from me.

Gentle Dental
I'm a senior on a fixed income, and have been a regular and frequent client with Gentle Dental since we moved here roughly 2011. Back then, the offices were named "An Elegant Smile" (AES), and I was going to their location on 3336 E. Chandler Heights Blvd., Gilbert. The quality of service was really good, so much so that I talked my wife into changing to AES from her previous dental provider. AES rotated several fine dentists through the Gilbert office. Eventually, Dr. Sneha Subramanian became our recurring AES practitioner - we were so confident with her that, when she transferred to the AES office way over at 10 S. Kyrene Road, Chandler, we followed her there despite Kyrene being the opposite side of the East Valley.Along the way, I needed LOTS of older dental work redone, it was all performed very, very capably. Then last year Gentle Dental bought out An Elegant Smile, but Dr. Subramanian remained and the high quality of service of all staff continues.Highly recommended!

This is a great place to get your dental work done. The staff is very kind and friendly. Dr Patel is on top of his game. I went in to get my crown replaced, he was very kind, explained what needed to happen, and did the replacement. The cost? This is the best part! He worked with my budget without compromising on quality. Needless to say I'm a very pleased customer. This is is why I'm sharing my positive experience. So when next you have a dental problem, go to Dr Patel.

Mark Arooni DDS
The staff is very friendly and professional. I feel like they are genuinely concerned about the health of my teeth. Dr. Arooni has a very soothing presence, which, in my experience, is especially rare (and appreciated) in a dentist. Even though my last procedure was very painful (physically & financially), I would recommend the staff at Dr. Arooni's office in a heartbeat.

Smiles of America
The staff was very helpful and informative with all my questions. I would go back and refer my family, which have done. My daughter had a onlay and my other daughter has braces with great payment options. They work with everyone to make them happy and try to get your treatment done as soon as possible.

Tips & Advices
  • Pick Your Plan: Most people purchase three main varieties, usually through their employers.
    • An indemnity or fee-for-service plan means you'll have to pay for annual deductibles and co-insurance payments out of pocket.
    • A preferred provider organization is less costly, and you choose from a network of dentists. However, PPOs have some limitations and accompanying deductibles.
    • A dental health maintenance organization plan limits you to just a few choices of dentists, and one doctor handles all of your oral care needs. However, these HMO are usually much less costly.
  • PPO plans and dental HMOs work with only a select number of doctors. While that usually means fewer costs, it also means you have less choice in the dentist who can treat you Before purchasing the plan, you'll receive a list of dentists in each network. From there, you can then pick a plan with doctors who meet your standards and requirements.
  • When picking a plan, you need to look at just how much you'll pay for each and every service. For instance, some plans won't cover your fillings or X-rays, while others may charge more or less for a crown or tooth extraction. You don't want to be caught off-guard by unforeseen charges.
  • If you're truly comfortable with a dentist and you feel he or she can be an ally in your ongoing oral care regimen, then consider signing a plan to just keep that dentist available. That means potentially deal with costs and other insurance-related factors that you might have wanted to. If need be, you might be able to work with the dentist's office to address some of the plan-specific concerns.
  • Ask family, friends or colleagues for recommendations. They will be able to provide details about a dentist's demeanor, operating style and approach to patient care
  • Meet with any prospective dentists to ask about what treatments they perform most often, procedures they're not as familiar with, what accreditation they have or any organizations they belong to and how their offices handles insurance and payments.
  • Consider driving distance, location and office hours.
  • Check With Your State Board: The state board can outline what requirements your dentist must meet and offer information about any discrepancies in the their background and if he or she has faced any disciplinary actions.
  • Remember Your Angles - When brushing your teeth, always place the brush at a 45-degree angle..
  • Don't Forget the Tongue – Your tongue is the largest source of bacteria. Brush it front to back and don't forget the sides.
  • Floss Everyday - Each time you floss, have at least 18 inches of floss available. For optimal control, hold the floss between your thumbs and forefingers.
  • Watch What You Eat - Sugar, alcohol and coffee contain phosphorus. While some can prove beneficial, too much of this chemical can eat away at your teeth and gums.
  • Keep in Mind the Mouthwash - Mouthwash can be helpful if used to supplement proper brushing and flossing. Most mouthwash brands contain chlorine dioxide, a chemical that targets the majority of oral bacterial strains.
Yellow teeth are the result of a number of bad habits, mainly smoking, drinking too much coffee and improper nutrition. Many dentists will treat with a whitening procedure.
These painful bumps are the result of irritation to the soft tissue of your mouth. These sores can make brushing almost impossible. There are a number of different causes for sores, including anemia or a vitamin B-12 deficiency. Your doctor will have to examine the bump, find its cause and then develop a specific treatment plan, including the use of corticosteroids to reduce inflammation or antimicrobial mouthwash.
