Furry Feet Retreat provides excellent day and boarding care, and we leave our dog there with absolute confidence that he'll be very happy and well-looked after. He gets to play indoors and outside in the leash-free dog park, and to socialize in a supervised environment. The dogs are segregated to make sure they're with others that they get along with, and are closely monitored. Our dog is always happy when he arrives and can't wait to see Theresa and the other dogs. Theresa's extensive experience and commitment to animals is very clear. Despite all these benefits, it's very reasonably priced.

We all love Brenna and Kenzie! My girls get so excited once they realize they are going there. The place is perfect, with a fabulous outdoor space and a great set up inside the house. The best is when all the dogs take a nap - I don't know how Brenna does it. She can give Caesar Milan a run for his money.

My dogs absolutely LOVE Camp Bow Wow! I take them at least once a week and when I even mention the word ""camp"", they get excited and can't wait to get in the car to go see all of their 4-legged (and 2-legged) friends! The staff greets my dogs by name and with big smiles! By the wags on their tails, I know that my dogs are very well taken care of! I wouldn't take them anywhere else for day care or boarding!

Dr. Livaudais is a superhero! One two separate occasions, he has saved my fur balls from crossing the rainbow bridge.\n\nTwo years ago my shy little boy kitty was having serious blockage issues and despite multiple treatments could not seem to regulate his chemistry. Turned out his chemistry wasn't the problem, it was the structure of his urethra. Kildaire Animal Hospital arranged for his surgery at the specialty hospital instead of having a surgeon come into their office. The sole purpose of the referral was to save me money. Which I greatly appreciated. \n\nThen just a few weeks ago, my sweet kitty Taryn became gravely ill with diabetic ketoacidosis and pacreatitis . Dr. Livaudais once again saved, despite almost loosing her, she has made a full recovery and will live a long healthy life.\n\nAs far as cost goes, I have found them to be consistent with other vet offices. With one major exception, Dr. Livaudais' extensive knowledge and experience ensure that I am not paying for unnecessary tests or procedures. Taryn is a perfect example, prior to going to Kildaire she was cared for by another ""less expensive"" vet office. They prescribed her unnecessary pain medicine to be taken daily for excessive licking. One visit with Dr. Lividaudais and a simple diet change, she stopped licking off her fur. \n\n

I've been boarding my dogs at Camp Canine for many years now and have had only 100% positive experiences. My dogs are noticeably calmer after boarding than when boarding at the Vet, presumably due to less confinement.

Ever been to a Vet that is $$$ orientated? We have a 13+ year old dog his hip is bad so they prescribe him a mild pain med. 2 months ago they refused to give him anymore until he had his yearly blood work done so we took him and had it done. They gave him a 60 day supply since his blood work was good. Today I go in and was told he has to have a physical and they won't give him any pain meds. The a yearly blood work test is the only factor in giving this medication, and was done 2 months ago. The vet saw him on that day as well. We live 50+ miles from this vet now. They said there has to be a client doctor relationship established, WHAT we have been going there over 13 years! We have 4 dogs they see but as of today, we are switching to a vet who is closer, good with pets, people and not just after your $$$ This was unacceptable, unreasonable, unprofessional and a money grubbing scam (In my opinion)!!! This was not the first time something like this has happened but it is the LAST

I have taken my dog to Wellington Animal Hospital since he was a puppy. He is now almost 13 years old. We have always received excellent care for him. He also goes to Wellington for grooming every eight weeks. The new groomer who started about a year and half ago does a great job and he really seems to really like her. They had another groomer before her and she was OK, but I think this new groomer is much better with my dog and does a better job grooming him. If you are looking for good hospital to take your pet to I recommend Wellington.

The staff of Cary Vet, especially Sheila, Becky and Dr. Bailey was compassionate with both of my cats. Five years ago I lost a Persian/Maine Coon cat to congestive heart failure - although he was 13 years old it was still difficult. Dr. Bailey was loving and compassionate towards the situation and felt as bad giving the news as I had receiving it. He worked with my Maine Coon (which died due to renal failure and lymphoma) for 2-1/2 years with some serious health issues. He was always available when there was an emergency and he took the time to explain all the details, including go over the lab results piece by piece. We worked together trying to put a plan together for his diet, medication, etc. There was only one other vet that I trusted like this and he is in CT. It was even more difficult for Dr. Bailey to call me with Zack's lab results in November 2010 -- he actually sounded like he was choking on the words that he had to deliver. I knew there was something seriously (deadly) wrong with Zack and it was just a confirmation he delivered to me. Zack went to sleep with the angels November 2, 2010. His staff was kind and beyond helpful during the loss. Although I still miss Zack and was so upset that he was only 5 years old with these kind of life-threatening illnesses I cannot hold Dr. Bailey or any of his staff responsible for our loss. They are not only compassionate their office is sparkling clean and they take all precautions with all of their gravely ill animals. Thank you, thank you for the relationship I had with them for over 8 years! Hopefully, someday soon, my heart will be ready for another little furball in my life. Right now -- just wonderful memories of Zack and the people that touched our lives in so many ways.

I found Pupsi back in 2007 when I boarded my last dog for 6 months there while staying with my husband's father who was dying in New Jersey. They kept me advised, handled his medical needs, and all in all spoiled him rotten. It got to the point that he recognized where I was going when on the way and would start ""head-butting"" me to get out, he was so excited. These people are the best ""dog people"" I have ever seen. And they are just as kind and considerate to the dog owners as well. If you want to have ""NO WORRIES"", Pupsi is the place to board. They are boarding my new puppy now and have even worked with me to get him over his neurotic behavior. I rescue my dogs and this one was people shy and not leash trained. Now he's absolutely perfect on a leash (and it only took about two days and I was amazed). Although he's still people shy, he's coming right along. This new puppy already knows when he's going to Pupsi and trys to crawl all over me to get out and get to play with the other dogs. I've read the other reviews and the lower end ones must have been written by people who have problems of their own, since they were definitely not discribing Pupsi.

The owners and staff are so considerate and truly enjoy working with dogs! I do not like leaving my puppy alone for an extended period of time and am know when I leave my pup here (at Dogtopia) he enjoys himself and is not alone. I highly recommend Dogtopia to any dog owner (I even went to the North Raleigh Location and adored it too). The only negative is that the staff doesn't take the dogs out to go potty-though it is to be expected. Though my pup thankfully doesn't changes his habits due to this fact-I could see it could be an issue for owners going through the housebreaking process.

We have had a very good history for several years with 2nd Best Friends and Teresa. I can't emphasize too much what our cats mean to us: They are family. I wouldn't place trust in anyone without the kind of service that Teresa has given us. She has always been available on short notice and has always shown great diligence and care of our pets. Teresa leaves us a written record of her visits. We're supposed to check in with her when we return from our absences and when we have screwed up and forgotten to call her, she has called us to insure we were home rather than continuing to visit and feed. We appreciate that kind of attention on her part and it gives us great solace knowing that even if our plans go haywire, she's still on the job.

I am writing this review from up in NJ - sadly, I had to move away (and now have to find a NEW vet... bummer) - But, I want to let anyone out there searching in the Cary area that Dr. Highsmith is EXCELLENT! She is very patient, gentle (but firm, if need be) and will take as much time as you need to explain procedures, medicines, conditions, etc and so on. They have an excellent staff that are equally as knowledgable and helpful. I have been to many vets in the past, and none come close to the service I recieved from Animal Kingdom over the last 2 1/2 years. I give them a double paws up!!

If I could give Dr. Suter a THOUSAND stars, I would!!! She is probably the #1 reason (outside of God's grace) that my beloved dog is still alive today. She is not only brilliant in her profession, but the most genuinely caring doctor I've EVER met. I came to her in a terrible, unexpected critical situation, as an out of town guest (not even a patient of record). Dr. Suter went above and beyond (to put it mildly) the call of duty in every way to not only save my boy, but make sure the 24 hour care he received after we left her office was executed to the highest standards. She communicated with me and the other vets tirelessly, all along, with the most warm-hearted affection and kindness. This woman hangs the moon as far as I'm concerned and I would drive 2 hours to see her if my pet needed "The Best of the Best" anytime!

I have been using Mayfair Animal Hospital for many years. I have noticed a decline in customer service and pressure to have procedures and tests done that are not necessary. It appears to have become more about making more money and less about the care and well being of the animals. Very disappointing...

10 out of 10 !!!!! Best vet experience ever! I only wish we had switched to PetSound sooner. The dental bill was a fraction of what we had been paying. More importantly, the staff had a very calming affect on my high strung pooch. They didn't overly drug her or keep her for hours and hours after her cleaning. She was happy when I picked her up, and she didn't try to bite anyone. I expected our bill to be $600-$800 (as it had been in the past at our old vet) so when it was under $300 you could have knocked me over with a feather. She got shots, an exam, a cleaning, her nails clipped, and some other stuff like x-rays. They are very honest and I truly believe they care about my dog. I'd suggest everyone goes there, even if you are happy with your vet, just have them give you a second look before you let your vet pull teeth. You might be pleasently surprised, I was.

I have gone to Mayfair for 4 years and will never go back. There has definitely been turnover in staff that has changed the whole feeling of the place. The only caring and compassionate vet there is Dr. Bristol. That being said, the practice cares about $$$$, over charges and refuses to work with you on providing care that your animal needs. Beware that if you question anything you will not get a doctor but a 'practice manager' who doesn't even know your pet's name and could care less. The vet tech didn't once stroke or make friendly with my pet, a far cry from the warmth I have experienced in the past from the staff. This most recent experience, where they do not genuinely care about the well being of your animal was new to me at Mayfair. Extremely disappointed in their attitude and behavior. Take your pet elsewhere.

We have been taking our two kitties to Dr. Jen for nearly 10 years. They received top notch care and wonderful attention from her and her staff through many checkups and through some tough health situations. What we especially appreciated was how Dr. Jen was so patient with us - explaining the situation each time and giving us a full rundown of our different options, allowing us to make educated choices about their care while still keeping mind that we had to pay for that care. She even landed one kitty a majorly discounted heart workup at NCSU vet school through a study when she (rightly) suspected he had heart disease. She's taken the time to do research just for us about my cat food questions and given us thoughtful answers. We've also really appreciated her mobile service. She helped us say goodbye to our second kitty yesterday in a caring respectful way, and we look forward to working with her again once we are ready for a new kitty. I hope those looking for a vet in the area will consider working with Dr. Jen regardless of any negative reviews they may come across. Everyone knows that those having a less positive experience are far more likely to write reviews of a business or service. Also, quite a number of negative reviews that have been popping up lately are from people who have never met Dr. Jen let alone work with her.
