My family always enjoys the chance to meet up at the Civil War Ranch for family reunions and church holiday activities. I especially enjoy Halloween partying at the ranch -- plenty of room for buffet dinner dining, great parade route around the Barn Courtyard, and a large fenced-in parking area perfect for trunk-or-treating. Of course, the rustic barn at the ranch is mostly used for weddings and receptions, which made me think that it would be a great venue for a fun Halloween wedding! I think others who are planning a wedding in October should consider a magical "Hallowwedding" at the ranch. Maybe bake a solemn vow to frighten and entertain your guests with a "spooktacular" wedding party. I think that if you're in the Four Corners area of Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas, you couldn't find a more gracious host than the team at Civil War Ranch! Maybe come to the Civil War Ranch for a spell on Halloween -- or on some other day in October. And why not call all your goblin, ghost and spooky friends of the night and have them creep, float, or crawl on down to the Civil War Ranch and join -- in anonymity -- for a masquerade "Hallowwedding." Or maybe consider going with a Tim Burton "Nightmare Before Christmas" wedding theme with a mix of whimsy. Call my friend, Chris Westwood, at 417-237-0771 to book your "Hallowwedding," and don't forget to ask her about the Ranch's Decorations Lending Closet.
