Bella Salon & Spa
I've been a repeat customer at this salon for a few months now, receiving monthly waxing services. I give them 2 stars because up until this week, I've had a very good experience with them. The girl that has normally does my services was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, fun to talk to and good at what she did. I would have rated her with 5 stars. Unfortunately, she went on maternity leave the one week I had to reschedule my appointment for a lunch break. They had a new girl that clearly was inexperienced take over. She took more than twice the time to do the service and only did half of it. At the time, I was already late back to work so I had to leave. I felt very disappointed but paid anyways. It literally feels like I flushed that money down the toilet because I now have to go to another salon to have the rest of my wax completed. The new lady was super friendly, and fun to talk to but just inexperienced. I felt bad about complaining, since I've worked in the salon industry for many years and initially wanted to avoid the confrontation because I felt so bad about it. However, my husband talked me into contacting them and asking them to fix it. I politely told them my problem and asked if the could fix it but they just ignored me. I contacted them on 3 separate occasions and they ignored me each time. I would have even paid the difference to have the rest of the wax completed just so I can stop feeling embarrassed about it. However, it's clear that they could care less about retaining their customers, especially because I was a repeat customer with intentions of coming in monthly, and even expending my services in the future. I feel very disappointed but it's time to cut my loss and move on to a different salon.

Absolute Hair
Absolute Hair is a family operation. As a former local Salon Owner, (Future Hair,) Cosmetologist and Cosmetology Instructor in two Gwinnett County schools, with well over 40 years of experience, my recommendation is that you highly consider a visit to Absolute Hair. The salon is located on Highway 20 not far from the Georgia Mall. This salon is very clean, unlike many others. It is a delight to walk in, to be greeted as though you are a friend, seated comfortably (with a beverage, if you wish) while having a very short minute or so to be escorted to your station. Once there, your hair designer will ask you what you want to achieve as a result to your visit. They listen attentively, offer suggestions as needed and quickly get to work. They do this on every visit, unassuming that you want the” same old same old”.The owners are Donna and Steve, a husband and wife team. They have other stylists there as well. There is a warm friendly atmosphere in this salon. You won’t hear a lot of loud music or gossiping. Rather your experience will be relaxing, pleasant and with all services carried out in a timely fashion. The salon is tastefully decorated, very comfortable and every area from the bathroom, changing (into a smock) room and processing of chemicals area are inviting. The products used for your hair services are of the latest and highest quality. There are many products from which to choose for your every day home care as well, so any specific hair care needs will be met. The prices are comparable to all salons and all services are offered ala carte. Yes, I do use their services and appreciate having an appointment that they will keep on time every time. Visit ABSOLUTE HAIR and judge for yourself!

Dr. Phil M Aldrich, MD
I switched to Dr. Aldrich about 3 years ago due to a referral from several coworkers and it's the best decision I've ever made. He is attentive, caring and kind. His best attribute? he LISTENS, and we all know how frustrating are doctors that just always know better than you. He listens to all of my concerns and addresses each and every one of them until I feel comfortable enough with the outcome and I ALWAYS leave that office feeling better about any given problem I have, he also doesn't hurry you and takes time to sit in the office and work everything out, making you feel like your business is appreciated and not a bother. He also does on-call during the weekends and if there is something pressing you need to speak to him about he can talk over the phone at home and write any given prescriptions from home, which saved me big time one saturday with an asthma attack.

Pincock James L MD DMD
I read a few bad reviews on Dr Pincock so I was honestly worried at first. He's not the type to give ya a hug or anything but he wasn't rude at all. I thought he was actually very nice. He's there to do a job- not make friends. Secondly-I had no issues getting pain medicine to take home ( which I had also read). The procedure was quick and not as bad as I had thought it would be after. The front desk staff seems distracted though. No phone call to remind me of appt or tell me I shouldn't eat before hand or that I needed someone there in the office for the entire procedure....but I was able to work those out. She also way over quoted me. But they are nice :)

I have been going to the salon for years and I love it. The stylists are friendly, the haircuts are great and the prices are reasonable. I love going here! During Back-To-School season, you would expect children to be crying when the come in, but instead, they cry when they leave! All the kids are clustered around the video game, eagerly waiting for their turn because they know that if they are good, they get a prize from the treasure chest! I am never bored when I get a hair cut because the stylist always has a story to tell or I can watch my favorite show! I highly recommend going to Teamclips!

Lotus Salon & Spa
I have been going to Lotus Salon for a while now. There is a positive, fresh new feel to the Salon. I get my hair cut, colored, and died by Angela. She always does what I ask and what she believes will look best. I've seen the work by Angelica and Mandy it's also phenomenal. All the ladies that work at the salon have a positive attitude and know what is best for the clients. The salon offers many services like: hair, waxing, nails and makeup!

Lotus Salon & Spa
I've been going to Yassie, for my hair care for approximately three years. I've always been very satisfied with the way my hair looks, when I leave the shop (Lotus Salon & Spa). She's friendly, she's a professional and she's knowledgeable. I highly recommend you go see Yassie for your hair care. If you recommend a friend to Yassie, and that friend comes in, you'll receive 15% off your next cut and color.

Absolute Hair
I had my haircut tonight by Steve. And I can only say fantastic! The most personal attention and personable stylist. Can't wait for my highlights in three weeks. Recently went on a trip and people who had not seen me in about a year commented on my hair and color and told me that not only do they think it made me look younger but they wanted to go to the same salon. Thanks to you Steve!

GT Mobile Auto Repair
Gene did some work for me on my RV, because of the unique nature of RV builds, we ran into some special challenges, but Gene worked through them and finished the job with excellent results and a very fair price. The mobile aspect of his business is a life saver if you cannot move your vehicle. I would highly recommend GT Auto repair...BW
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
