Candrell Car Care
I have a fleet of 20 #1 collectables none rated less than a #2 for correctness. This is the only shop I will use after years of experience. If you need a recommendation call me.John Vann 214-830-7341

Candrell Car Care
I'm a huge fan of Candrell's Car Care! I've had them service all of my cars for at least 6 years. They've done AC repairs, oil changes, brake changes, transmissions (to name a few) and they did them all efficiently at great prices. I highly recommend them!

Mighty Car Care
After being charged for diagnostics and overcharged by an hour for labor costs from two other repair shops in this area, I found Mighty Car Care!!!They looked at my truck, found the problem, and then gave me a printed estimate to compare with other shops. They beat everyone's price, hands down. Since then, I've had an inspection and two Tahoes aligned there. They've got a coupon for the inspection on their website and the alignment was HALF the cost of the name brand car place I used to use. They are professional and do good work. I highly recommend Mighty Car Care!

Extreme Auto Care
Met Adam for the first time today, and had quite a bit done to my car. Oil change, tire repair, brake pads, rotors, and new shocks. I'm always nervous trusting a new place with my vehicle; I'm female and not knowledgeable about cars, and have been blatantly ripped off in the past as a result. I could not be happier with the service I received today and the price!! It was about $200 less than what I was estimating, and he did not recommend any services or parts that were unnecessary. Also... he had everything looked at and repaired in under two hours. I've never seen a place get a car in and out of there as fast as this, without sacrificing service or quality. This place had it all! I highly recommend!!

NTB National Tire & Battery
When we returned from traveling for the weekend, I had a flat tire in the car we had left behind and found a screw stuck in it. I arrived at this NTB in Carrollton when they opened on Monday morning and without an appointment, I was helped right away by Steve who was very kind and welcoming. I explained the situation and that I was hoping the tire could be repaired. I had taken my work with me and used their free WiFi to work remotely while they repaired my tire, put it back in place, and put my spare away. Although, I know it is nearing time for new tires, it was not suggested that I needed to do so at that exact time and I was not pressured to purchase additional services. While I waited I observed about 5 other customers come and be helped. Steve and another man addressed each need promptly and with the same kindness they showed me. Although my week wasn't starting out smoothly, it turned out to be a great experience and reminded me that kindness really can make a day better. I will certainly be returning to this NTB location!

Mighty Car Care
My father took his truck here and James guaranteed it would run. James had my 80 yr old father take him spark plugs and a distributor from the parts store. I thought that was strange. These places usually provide parts. After paying James nearly $1,000 my father's truck left him stranded the day he picked it up. After 4 days in the shop it is still stranded at Walmart and they won't have it towed or assume any responsibility. My father is an honest man and feels he has been taken advantage of. 469-735-2933 if anyone has had the same experience.
Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.
