I live a half an hour away and was looking for a new place to check out. I called to see if they had a band, and the lady said, ""yes, we have a band"" then hung up on me. I called back to ask if there was a cover and she said, ""YES WE HAVE A BAND, THERE IS NO COVER - I am busy and I really don't have time for this! Come check it out if you're interested."" And hung up on me again.

Boiling Springs Tavern has a lot going for it. First it's in Boiling Springs, which is about as pretty a little town you can find in Central PA. The tavern itself is a neat building with a great bar area and pleasant dining rooms.my wife and I first went there two years ago to the day actually. Had a great evening with food that wasn't spectacular but respectable. We've gone there on a number of different occasions since then. Sadly, aach time we have gone the experience has been a less pleasant one then the last. This final trip there, last night was just plain awful. Bickering wait staff in the dining room and an absolutely awful dinner for both of us. My wife had the sea bass which I think was a special. In her words it was Nasty. I had the veal and prosciutto. The blue cheese salad dressing was salty the sauce on the veal was salty and tasted like some cheap packet store bought sauce you add water to. I spent the rest of my night awake quite sick to my stomach. Stop by to see Boiling Springs, but pack a picnic, I wouldn't risk eating at the tavern again.

A parent of an athlete of mine wanted to take the coaching staff (2 people) out for dinner the night before our competition to show appreciation. We stumbled on Black and Bleu on the Internet and thought we'd give it a try. I'm so glad we did! The food was fantastic. I had the black and bleu NY strip steak, the other coach had the dry rubbed short ribs, the parent had the lump crab cakes, and the athlete had the seafood Newburg pasta. All are recommended. I can't say I was expecting much from a restaurant in a strip mall, but the decor was comfortable. It was easy to have a conversation and your senses weren't on overload. Our waitress was Nicole. Whe was very amenable to our questions and silliness. 2 big thumbs up for her and the restaurant! I don't know when we'll be back in the area, but I know where we'll get some dinner when we do go back.

We are excited to bring our fine hand-crafted ales, lagers, and exceptional fare in a warm, friendly, brew pub setting to the Susquehanna River's West Shore! Historically, brewing has been left to the East Shore. Harrisburg's strong brewing tradition dates to the 1700's. At one time, Harrisburg produced much of the beer for the entire region, but prohibition ultimately forced most breweries out of business. ABC revived that tradition in 1997 by opening Harrisburg's first brewery in 46 years. Once again, ABC has made history by opening the West Shore's first brewery! This fully renovated location features a revised menu that will be implemented in all three locations. A new Appalachian feature available in Camp Hill is our draught wine system, featuring 12 rotating wine taps to complement our 18 draught beer handles. This nitrogen system offers a selection of fine wines which are not readily available in state stores.
