Lily"s Best Cleaning Service
We needed a miracle and we got one in Lily's Best Cleaning Service! Our rental unit had been neglected by tenants. We live in MA and come out once a year to check on things and things were not good. Carpet was covered with drink, coffee and dog stains, kitchen floor was a grimy mess, walls and baseboards were dirty, the bathrooms...gross! And it smelled!!! Dirty body smell! Lily and crew came and in a few hours had EVERYTHING sparkling!!! Floors, walls, windows, all surfaces! And it smelled clean! We asked how she got the kitchen floor clean and she said it was her secret! The floor was so bad we planned to replace it, but she got it so clean and bright that we saved it! Additionally, her husband and his brother completely fixed the landscaping, pruned trees, and dead plants. They made to yard shine as brightly as Lily made the house shine. So, we asked the brothers to paint the condo and lay a laminate floor. Their work was perfect, the only result they want. They were deliberate, careful, paid close attention to detail and did beautiful work. So much so that the realtor handling the sale of the condo and prospective buyers all asked for their cards! Their rates were also very reasonable! We love Lily, Reyes and Andres!!! AND, thanks to them, we sold the condo in 5 days!

Tips & Advices
Many services offer long-term contracts that include regularly scheduled cleanings. These contracts sometimes, but do not always, result in discounted prices. Most cleaning services offer discounts in exchange for customer referrals.
Homeowners should review their cleaning service's damage/breakage policy. Some businesses compensate for damaged items, while others do not.
Not always. Before hiring a cleaning service, homeowners should confirm the company verifies its employees' identities and performs background checks. Those planning to hire a self-employed cleaner rather than go through a business should inquire about background check options available from their state's attorney general.
  • The annual costs. Weekly services quickly add up, and homeowners may need to pay additional taxes if they choose a self-employed cleaner.
  • Language barriers and miscommunications. Some professional cleaners might speak English as a second language .
  • Background checks and employment verification. Homeowners can be held liable if they employ a person not legally permitted to work in the U.S.
Some services charge more for pets while others do not. Regardless, homeowners should keep in mind that any pet-related cleaning, such as emptying a litter box, adds to the amount of time the service charges for.
