Rob's Total Car Care
I brought my brand new 2016 GMC to him because on the lift manufacturers website he was listed as authorized retailer. He is not. They discontinued business with him due to all the issues. That was unknown to me until after this mess. He put on a 4.5" lift and I had immediate steering issues. He told me that all I needed was an electronic alignment to straighten my steering wheel. Not long after and I had put brand new $1400 tires on it, I had issues with the tires. I brought it to my dealership for an alignment and to have an airbag recall done. They advised me the tie rods weren't correctly sized and it wasn't an alignment rather their installation. I first attempted to bring the vehicle back, Rob's shop dismissed me until I pushed them on the subject. I turned in my truck on a Friday and they kept it 8 days. They rarely updated me, were rude when I inquired and when I got it back the steering wheel leaned 45 degrees to the left. Rob lied to my face about the issues several times. I finally called the lift manufacturer and found out he was not an authorized dealer, that what he had told me about the lift and the issues were all false. I took the truck from there to 2 independent shops who both confirmed all issues. They installed rear lift blocks backwards on one side causing imbalance and cupped the rear tires. The drivers side tie rod was replaced ( the first one they messed up that was on the truck as well) with a NAPA part and cut too short. The tie rod was held on by one thread and had to be replaced a third time. They didn't cut the passenger side at all. They ruined my front tires as well. They crushed my stabilitrak sensors and the truck has to be repaired at the dealer. So in all I spent almost $2500 to have their shoddy job fixed. The best part is, he ignored my requests To repay me and avoided my messages and phone calls. He has moved shops several times the last few years. Enough people complain and sue him and he moves to a new place.

Herbert Automotive
Went to Herbert Automotive twice in the past 2 weeks for 2 of our vehicles. What an AMAZING experience we had. The customer service is awesome, spoke to both Cindy and Clint and they made us feel right at home. VERY thorough, explained everything in it's entirety and did a great job on our vehicles. HIGHLY recommend and we will go nowhere else besides here for all the services they offer in the future. Have never been treated better and would give them 10 stars if we could!!!!

Braun Automotive
I needed to have my air bag shocks replaced/converted on my 1996 Lincoln town car. They not only were polite, and got the job done in a timely manner, they were also a 100.00 dollars less than other shops I looked into.

Tim's Auto Buff
I bought a South Georgia extended cab 4 door farm truck that had seat covers in place over cloth seats for 6 years. Tim's shop was able to clean the interior including seats and carpets beyond my expectations. They also detailed the exterior including the frame, truck underside and engine to nearly new appearance. All for a very reasonable price. Not related to him in any way and chose his shop out of local listings. Very pleased.

Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
