Cabot Tire & Off Road
Got brand new tires from here for $35 cheaper than what everywhere else was quoting me. They got me in 30 minute early and changed all 4 tires on my car before the time I had an appointment at. Highly recommend

Frank's Tire
Got some used tires from here. One formed a lump the first day I got them another blew out the next day. Called and tried to get a refund was told they didn't do refunds only replaced tires. I had already bought brand new tires for $35 cheaper a piece than what they quoted me. Would not recommend this place to anyone ever.

Cabot Autoplaza
I have bought 2 vehicles from Cabot Auto Plex in Cabot, AR. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating every time. When I purchased my 3rd car it was not so good. My husband and I are actually very mad at them for the issues we were having with no help or guidance from the company. 1) My vehicle was overheating the day we purchased it. The company at their expense had the radiator flushed and I have not had trouble with it overheating since then.2) My vehicle was leaking oil for the first week I had it but I could not figure out why. Everyday I called the company and stated the issue and they did not offer to have it looked at. They just stated it was strange. I had a mechanic look at the issue. It was because the oil was over filled. Thank god it did not do damage.3) My car would not start. My husband nor I could get the key to turn. The company kept putting me off for almost a week. AT MY EXPENSE I had to call a tow truck because my son and I were stranded. I had to have it towed to a mechanic and fixed. The key cylinder, ignition and lock for the cars alarm system was seized. All of it had to be drilled, ordered, programed and installed. I WAS NOT EVEN ABLE TO MAKE THE FIRST MONTHS PAYMENT AND ALL OF THIS HAPPENED!! The company just said it was odd and strange. I received a factory key and a 2nd hand programed key when I purchased the vehicle. Both keys worked in the vehicle. When I asked the company about the keys they stated to me that that is the way they purchased the vehicle.4) After making my 1st months payment we have had to have the car looked over extremely well for over an hour with a code machine checking everything on the car. That had to come out of OUR POCKETS.The company has not reimbursed me for anything I have had asked them to reimburse me for nor have they offered to take money off of my car note. I have spent over $500 on this car before I my the 1st payment. I will never go back nor send anyone to them.

Do NOT use this individual for any reason to fix a car!!! He told me all this stuff that was wrong with my car. He tried to tell me that he fixed the problem. I paid the $200. My car began acting out. I took it to three different places, all said nothing had been done to my car. So basically, he stole $200 from me. I asked for a refund because he never so much as touched my car with any repair. He is a theif, liar and con-artist!!!

Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.

Just a moment...
