Just went to phone YEP and find this seafood restraint, so happy to find them, Love the food, drinks, and great bar service. And right by the Bay water side. Don't miss it!!!
1447 Burlingame Ave
We sat at the bar because we didn't have a reservation. Rhonda served us at the bar. She was fantastic! Very informative, very fun! And the food was great.
1250 Bayshore Hwy
I like Max's and this particular location. I've always had good experiences, and the food is always great. Most people I know rave about the corned beef or brisket. I don't think the service is that great all the time--many servers act like it's just a job and they don't care about the customers. But there's something fun and enjoyable about this location--it's smaller than the one in Palo Alto and the live music (piano and singing) makes it worth it.
4.Trapeze European Cuisine
266 Lorton Ave
A small group of us tried Trapeze one night and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Every part of our evening in this restaurant was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Unlike in most restaurants we never felt rushed, we were able to enjoy our meal at our own pace. I highly recommend Trapeze and plan on visiting them again.

I was driving down the main street in Burlingame and saw this place and it looked nice enough from the car. The next day I decided to stop in and give it a try. The menu is very limited, Prime Rib in 3 sizes, New York Strip in 3 sizes, and fish of the day, and a vegetarian dish. The Prime Rib was great and on the bone and came along with potato and vegetable. I think you will enjoy it if you are hungry for Prime Rib.

Excellent place. Atmosphere is great, coffee is really good, food is perfect, and all wait staff is friendly. Had the eggs Benedict, loved it. The potatoes though on the side were worth stopping for. They have chicken and waffles, but only as a weekend special. Parking is on the street with meters.
8.Village Host Pizza
I used to live just across the street from here. I think we ate this pizza once a week! So delicious, friendly people and a great neighborhood hangout.
9.Mivan Mediterranean Cuisine
My fiance and I both had lamb entrees for dinner. His was very good, but mine was awesome! Try the adana kebob. SOOOOOO good, and one of the cheaper items on the menu ($11 I think?). Highly recommended.

Food is good for breakfast or brunch- not too oily or heavy, even for hash browns.\r Servers were friendly. The wait is very long on weekends.

Sakae has moved to 243 California Drive, Burlingame, CA (650-348-4064). Better than ever!!
327 Lorton Ave
The sandwiches are great! The people who are helping are vey courteous and efficient. Will recommend it.
The service, esp. from Sabon, is about as good as you will find. The menu has a lot of good choices and the food is very consistent.

King Yuan is definitely one of the original restaurant experiences which you must not miss while you're traveling or enjoying the high class shopping experience at Burlingame Downtown. Located right on Burlingame Avenue, King Yuan packs a bundle of tasty delights such as ""Crab and Cheese Dumplings"", ""Rolling Lettuce Chicken"", ""Hot and Sour Soup"", ""Sizzling Rice Soup"", ""Chicken in Garlic Sauce"", ""Black Pepper Spareribs"", etc. I love the classy, yet cozy atmosphere, and the selection of wines from some of the finest wineries in Sonoma and Napa such as Callaway and Beringer is superb. So whether you're looking for a family or personal dining atmosphere, I would strongly recommend trying King Yuan. My wife and I usually goes on a shopping spree on Burlingame Avenue, then we would sit down and enjoy the excellent cuisine at King Yuan along with a glass of fine wine as a reward!
1699 Bayshore Hwy
Dining at Gulliver's is definitely a unique experience. The place is done up like an Olde English eatery with the waitstaff reluctantly dressed in period garb. The prime rib was pretty good but the rest of the food is average. The desserts were down right boring. The biggest negative was the inattentive waitstaff but the nicest thing was the piano player who takes requests from the diners.

19.Tomokazu Japanese Cuisine
1101 Howard Ave
I've been here several times. The service was attentive and a couple times they even brought us free ice cream just for the heck of it. The appetizers are tasty and nicely made and I love the beef sukiyaki. Oh and the portions are pretty generous. I wouldn't agree that it was overpriced. Pricing was pretty average for a decent Japanese restaurant, only slightly more than say Isobune but much nicer surroundings.
20.American Bull Bar & Grill
1819 El Camino Real
This bar is the best in the Peninsula! The service is excellent. The staff are very friendly and personable. The food is great too! It's the best place to watch any sporting events. Big screen TV's everywhere, including a 92 inch big screen.
1451 Burlingame Ave
The sushi is awesome and fresh. This is only one of two sushi resturants I will eat at due to the fact that some of the dishes I eat are raw. I only have one problem and that's with people who bring their children. Some people let their brats take the food off the boats at the counter with no intention of eating it and then they put the food back on the boat. It's unsanitary. For people w/children, leave your kids at home or sit at a table, not the counter.
The service is great and the food is fresh and made FAST!
1408 Burlingame Ave
I almost hate to review this place for fear others will find out how great it is! This is the BEST breakfast in B-game (better than Stacks in my opinion). The oatmeal pancakes and scones are to die for. I take all out of town guests to this place for oatmeal pancakes and every person has left raving about them! The egg dishes (scrambles, omlets, etc) are good too but not outstanding. The wait can be long on the weekends so try to get there early. FYI, they also started serving dinner.
24.Blue Line Pizza
1108 Burlingame Ave
Definitely get the garlic bread to start! It is my favorite thing ever! The thin crust pizzas are delicious. It can be loud inside, but they have a great patio, which is a little quieter.

25.Narin Thai Cuisine
231 Park Rd
We have enjoyed Narin for many years. The specials never disappoint and the standards are well presented and consistently excellent. The fish is fresh, mee krob crispy, spicy soup very good and always accompanied by lovely flowers carved from vegetables as decoration.
26.New England Lobster Company Inc
824 Cowan Rd
Good food LOBSTERS great.
1309 Burlingame Ave
This is a must get if you're nearby. My favorite is the s'more cupcake! Always moist and delicious. They also have great gluten-free options too!
777 Airport Blvd
This is inside the Red Roof Inn and is open 24hrs. Good considering that there aren't many places nearby within walking distance. The menu is eclectic, it has a diner feel with American, Italian and Chinese served. Seems a bit overpriced
29.Barracuda Japanese Restaurant
347 Primrose Rd
Just went after work on a Friday. Didn't have a reservation but we were seated immediately. Service was friendly and prompts. Liked the atmosphere and probably the best salmon sashimi I've had lately; everything we ordered was very fresh. Had some nice rolls with mango and avacado which were good as well. Will go back.
30.Five A's Cafe
1851 El Camino Real
Very good place for eating lunch, dinner, or 'take out'. The pricing is right on and they have a large selection of great food. It's not your tipical mistery Chinese kitchen place because they have an open kitcken. I love watching the cooks. I really enjoy the Beijing Cold Noodles, Chinese eggplant with chicken and prawn, Vietnamese black pepper beef, and some things I just have to point at and ask the waitress to let me try. They have and English and a Chinese menu. On the weekends they make their own hot soy milk served with Chinese donuts. Oh yeah. You gotta try them out at least once. I'm going bak for sure.
