Zhao, Chonghao, MD
Dr. Chonghao Zhao is an excellent clinician and a nice human being. His office is like a small hospital where he can perform all kind of treatment for a very difficult patients like myself. He does not care about money. He is all about science of pain and makes sure that his patient is getting better. His good results after treating thousands of patients speak by them self. He is teaching residents at UCLA and always has a doctor/student in his office following his experience and expertise. I definitely want to be treated by a teacher not by a student. If you have chronic pain you are not alone. You find the right doctor. Do not wait and suffer anymore pick up the phone and make an appointment today. His staff is very friendly and you feel there like at home. I had pain in mine spine, my legs and terrible headaches for 12 years and went to at least 25 specialists with no avail. Dr. Zhao used East-West medicine and I gained my life back in 4 short weeks. It’s been 3 years since my treatment and I feel like a million dollars. I can play with my kids and my wife is not miserable anymore. Thank you Dr. Zhao for making me smile again.

Lakshmidevi Putta MD
I have been seeing Dr. Laxmi Putta for a little over a year and I have found her to be a very caring doctor. Moving from a different city, I was very anxious about finding the right general physician as I needed to be certain that the physician will be caring, receptive, and available when needed, and I will like to mention that Dr. Laxmidevi Putta has more than met my expectations. She does not recommend unnecessary procedures and always acts in my best interest. The only down side is that I need to pay for parking every time I need to see her, but that will not deter me from strongly recommending her to my friends.

Dr. Michael D Marsh, MD
I've been through many doctors over the past decade, but none of them match up to Dr Marsh. He's extremely intelligent and friendly, and isn't there to give you the run-around or waste his own time. I had been dealing with an issue with several previous doctors that he figured out the first visit. If you're looking for a new doctor and he is taking new patients, I highly recommend Dr Marsh.

Frend Jeremy Dr
Dr. Frend came highly recommended as a pediatrician and I am happy to say that he was great with our son. This office has several great policies including an easy billing system, the separation of lobbies for sick/contagious vs not and the fact that Dr. Frend offers his email for those worried first time parents. Highly recommend!

Christine Szeto MD
Ok, I almost don't want to write a review because I want to keep Dr Szeto all to myself. She is the best Primary Dr I have ever met, she truly cares about my health, is on time with appointments and has the friendliest and happiest office staff I have ever seen. Parking is a pain but everything over in that area is tough.

My co worker referred me to Dr. Dao. She had only the best things to say about this doctor. So, I finally made an appointment and I must say, he is truly the best! So patient and thorough. Never rushing and always listening to his patients. Dr. Dao...you rock!

Dr. Raymond Benjamin Raven III, MD
This man is a fantastic surgeon. He's not Dr. "Feelgood" but he is an absolute pro and his confidence is well founded. He performed carpal tunnel surgery on both of my wrists and improved my quality of life forever. I am indeed grateful for his skill set.

Dr. Michael D Marsh, MD
I love Dr. Marsh! He is always overbooked it seems but I always manage to feel that I have been paid proper attention. He is charming and very easy to talk to. Wish he didn't have SO many patients all the time. Be prepared to wait...
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
