Moe's Tire And Auto Repair
While in the Buffalo area visiting my accounts...my company truck got a flat and I was able to limp it off the expressway. I called a long time friend and told him where I was stranded as the truck did not have a spare. He told me about Moe's and that he had taken his daughters car there for some routine maintenence and to have a tire plugged. It was near her apartment and with a leaking tire he couldnt make it far. So getting back to my problem at hand I limped my work truck over to Moes and was met with probably one of the top ten auto experiences in my life time. He had a car on the lift that he was elbows deep in but that customer had dropped off. Instead of having me wait until he was finished he checked for a tire for the truck...found a real nice used replacement and jacked the truck up right in the lot...within 20 mins tire was dismounted and new one on and balanced...down the road I went! I would recommend Moe's to anybody I know...great experience!!

Moe's Tire And Auto Repair
I am new to Buffalo ( from Rochester) and I am a female with 3 children. I called Mo's up to get a price on tires and he gave me a great deal. I then went to look at the tires and they looked good ( i gave them the good old penny test) i checked for cracks and ect. Mo was very helpful with giving me great customer service. He also fixed my tire rod and did a oil change all working in my budget!!! while he fixed my car he informed me on everything he did before he did it ( I learned alot) I also was introduced to his wife and daughter and they were both a pleasure to have for company while me and my 20mth old daughter waited. I would recommend to all my friends and family. He as gained a life time customer!!!

Cleve-Hill Auto & Tire
I went to this auto shop to get my truck looked at cause I was having coolent leaking in my truck's cab and they were gonna charge me $900 to get my heater core changed and said it will take him two days to do it. TWO DAYS?!? Are you serious?!?!! Iv had people say it takes only 5-6 hours to change a heater core. I found other mechanics who would do it for less than $600 so don't bother going to this auto shop cause they will lie to get money from you.

Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.

Just a moment...
