YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.
Barbecue Restaurants in Buffalo, NY
1.Suzy Q's Barbeque Shack
2829 Niagara St

By far Suzy's BBQ is the best tasting and most authentic BBQ in Buffalo. Whether you get the pulled pork, turkey legs or beef brisket it is all excellent. The piggy pie is an awesome combination of pulled pork, french fries, coleslaw and cheddar cheese piled high. Everything is homemade on sight including the cornbread and coleslaw. Suzy's is easy to find. It's right next to the Chevy plant on Niagara Street looking across to Canada.

I am amazed that anyone can give this place a bad review for their Ribs. Something not correct with this being posted about Smokey Bones on these reviews. (there MUST be some lies here) This is part of the Red Lobster / Olive Garden chain. My opinion is that they blow other restaurants away. I have eaten here about 20 times so far…. I travel to Atlanta and San Antonio on a regular basis for work with going to St Louis and KC every now and then. I eat Ribs at the best most legendary BBQ’s in the USA. This is not better then one of them but they are way up there in taste and quality! For a chain restaurant this place has the best BBQ hands down...I am a former chef and several value my opinion on food and cuisine...I am thinking we might have some disgruntled employees or someone who just wants to effect this business because there Ribs are just of the best you can get from a chain ....If you have never tried them I highly recommend Smokey Bones!!! Someone giving this place a 1 star rating for an internet menu issue and not rating the food is just wacky in my eyes….you go to eat and not to argue about 2 or 3 dollars for the cost of an item…I would not trust a review from someone that cares about something like that (they must really know fine dining =) Try this place if you have not…it is very good.

If you want fast good food thats not expensive, this is the place. It's not pretentious, but the food is always good, day or night. there isn't anything on the menu that they don't do well. Short order cooking is an art that these folks know.\r
6.Jimmy's On Elmwood
1680 Elmwood Ave
This is my favorite local joint in Buffalo. It is a quint little bar, with an awesome owner Jimmy! He is always there , know everyone by name after he meets you the first time, and will go out of his way to please a customer! Even having the cooking staff make items for you that may not be on the Menu! The food is great, crowd is mix of 20 to 30 somethings, local Blue Collars, and mom and dad out for dinner an wine! This place is awesome!

Do not get food from this place. I ordered delivery food, and it came nearly an hour late. Needless to say, it was cold and awful. The delivery driver didn't even come up to my door. He called me when he was outside and told me to come out to get the food. It's not really a big deal, but normally delivery drivers actually get out of their car and walk up to people's doors to give them their food. Save your money, do not order from this place!!!!
20.La Nova Pizzeria

If you get to the Buffalo area often, you know that LaNova is a ledgendary desitnation. Two Locations, but I find that the Main Street Location is easier when you are just driving through town. Oh and by the way their BBQ wings can make a grown man cry or in my case and those of many others that I know, it at least make you stop and get an order on the way.....PS they are really tasty, but the wings are a very dangerous thing to try to eat while driving.....\r \r Trust me, if you like wings, and you have had others BBQ wings, they usually fry them and splash some weak BBQ Sauce on them , not at LaNova. They are cooked on a grill and the sauce is of their own making. Its tangy and sweet and they seem to know just how to grill them. From a recent news story I saw, The owners said they sell between 400 to 500,000 pounds a week...somebody must likey....\r \r Not a fancy sit down place, in either location, Main Street has a counter with maybe 10 stools, but West Ferry the home base has tables and counter service. to describe it on a regional level they are like the Geno's cheese steak of Philly but for Buffalo wings...

I am addicted to the Frenchy steak sub at Jim's. I have driven from West Seneca to downtown Buffalo at all hours just for this sub. I have also gone Lancaster to Williamsville too. I can pass 20 other sub shops and none will work but Jim's . So worth traveling for. The best Sub.

Had dinner there on five separate occasions and each time was as flawless as the last. Love having a drink at the bar before dinner (great wine list), and the waitstaff has always been friendly and courteous. The salad, appetizer and main course is served with enough time to enjoy without feeling rushed. And Russell himself has always said hello. I would say the trick is to dress as if you were dining out at a nice restaurant. I did see him turn a man away once for arriving in shorts and flipflops. Thank God! This is one of the few places left where you can get dressed up to enjoy a fine meal. I'm glad they keep it classy.

I recently went here with my wife to celebrate a promotion she had recieved. I found the waiter to be pleasent and attentive. The restaurant has a great design, with a sizable selection of wine to choose from. I have went here for both lunch and dinner, and my experience both times was very satisfying. If in the mood for something different, definitely try this place.
