I M S Primary Care
This place claims it always has computer & phone issues. I called for an hour today after their lunch hour & no one answered. On my 2nd to last call someone answered & immediately hung up on me. I called them on the doctor line & surprise they answered. So unprofessional to leave patients hanging like that.

Dr Brady was by far the most arrogant rude Dr I have ever seen. He actually refused to discuss anything with my husband, including his depression issues. He even had the audacity to state he only had 20 minutes to spend so pick an issue you want to discuss and make another appointment if you have more than one issue. Horrible, horrible experience and I will never go back!!!!! I was so much happier with the doctors who used to be there, they all jumped ship and so have most of their clients! I would give a negative star if I could!

I M S Primary Care
This has been the worst doctors office I have ever been to. I had to wait over 3 weeks for an appointment. Than I get there and the front office staff is so rude, plus every time I went in I had a different doctor even after I told them who I wanted my primary to be. The other doctors were also incredibly rude and very unprofessional. Not only that but I have had a problem with the billing office for weeks. When I finally got a hold of them they told me I had a credit on my account and than later I was told that they were not going to apply my credit to my account and that I owed them money. They even sent my account to collections with out sending me one letter of notice that they were going to. When I called the billing department I could not get a hold of anyone to help me for weeks and when someone did call me back the lady could not explain why my account was sent to collections and admitted that there was no record of them sending me notice about it. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTORS OFFICE, THE STAFF AND DOCTORS ARE EXTREMELY RUDE AND THE BILLING DEPARTMENT IS VERY DISHONEST. THEY WILL JUST TRY TO TAKE AS MUCH MONEY FROM YOU AS THEY CAN AND YOU WILL GET HORRIBLE SERVICE.
Tips & Advices
A child should see his or her pediatrician frequently during the first few years. Once the child reaches age 3, parents should schedule a doctor's visit at least once per year. Before that, however, the American Academy of Pediatrics suggests parents arrange visits according to the following schedule:
  • 2 to 5 days old
  • 1 month old
  • 4 months old
  • 6 months old
  • 9 months old
  • 12 months old
  • 15 months old
  • 24 months old (2 years)
  • 30 months old (2.5 years)
No, parents should call 911, an emergency physician, or a pediatric emergency physician if a child suffers an acute illness or injuries. Doctors in these fields are more qualified than pediatricians to handle emergency situations.
A well-visit is a routine visit with a pediatrician to track a child's development, discuss medical or emotional concerns, and receive immunizations and medical advice.
Yes, pediatricians provide immunizations for infants and children up through 21 years.
No, pediatricians do not have to be board certified. They're only required to have a state license. However, certification indicates a dedication to studying pediatrics beyond the requirements.
