Billy Bob's
Well if you are looking for fine dining, doubt if you'd choose a place named Billy Bob's. Maybe they have revamped since the other review. We found the service eager and friendly. The place was clean and cosy, Billy Bob came and chatted to us and the food....was good.. Huge pancakes, eggs done right, fresh coffee, grits and sausage all at a reasonable price. Didn't wait long at all for our order at all. Obviously we had the Breakfast menu, but will probably return for a Thursday night dinner buffet which we hear is good Southern Cooking , plus cheap!. N.B. If like me, you HAVE to have real maple syrup with your pancakes...bring your own.

Grits
I went more to help a good cause than for the food, which was good and filling and actually a bargain considering for $7.99 you can get unlimited salad and their "hot bar" which is 2 meats (always fried chicken), 3 side dishes, bread, corn fritters and homemade soup. The ribs (Saturday) were excellent! Service was as good (or better) than the food. I arrived just as lunch was starting and a couple customers who were leaving told me the best meal there by far is the biscuits and gravy at breakfast. This place will never be written up in a tour book but worth the trip to help people get a hand up!

Billy Bob's
food is inconsistent. ..but good flavors. kitchen staff always bickering with wait staff. wait staff is eager to please at all times. Billy Bob Comes out and checks on you but the big mama at register argues about she wants the money.... greedy woman. always into the punchline of money. she doesnt have the training to care for customers.... very lax environment. ...
