Had the most deliciousl lobster roll yesterday. Hands down better than any i've had anywhere! I've had many in the city and nothing compares to Jordans. There are no fillers, they are pure lobster meat, on a bun with lettuce. And you get coleslaw and fries, either regular or for $1 more, sweet potatoe fries. I've also heard that the fried filet of sole was the best my cousin ever had, and the seafood bisque was delish.\r Try and meet the owner, he's so personable and nice!! Overall we had a great time. Its not fancy but it doesn't need to be, seriously folks, go there and and you get great seafood!

I went there for the first time for an early Friday night dinner. The restaurant itself is very unassuming from the outside and the location is hidden - it's tucked away on Hicks St right next to the BQE. I passed it by chance when I walking to Red Hook from Cobble Hill, and I would've never noticed it except I decided to walk on Hicks Street. We got there at 7PM and if was already getting crowded. Had delicious whole Branzino with fried oysters. I can honestly say it's probably one of my best dining experiences I've had in Brooklyn (food and service.) Compliments to the chef! Very nice waiter - attentive and friendly and the seafood was excellent. Decor added to the experience - it was very eclectic and rustic - lots of different decorations of fish. I will definitely come back! At LEAST once a month!

Melt in your mouth burgers and delicious cheese fries shows why this place is still open after decades of reamining an unapologetically junk food heaven. The food is always made fresh and the service is about as quick as it could be considering the endless stream of people at all hours of the day. Run, don't walk.

I am writing to say how happy my husband and myself were to have our Wedding at Giando's. It was everything we wanted and more. We wanted for nothing and were treated like a King and Queen. The people who we delt with for our Wedding were real people down to earth and nothing we beyond them doing for us. We had the night of our lives and the best part is we can go to the restaurant and enjoy the place as ""Our Place"" and we have many times and will in time to come. I thank Ellen and Alex for being so wonderful to us and all our guests. We knew when we walked in to see the place that this was the place for us...

I have to agree that this resturant is a little on the pricey side but that is the only issue I have with this place. The food is great. Definitely try the Shrimp Scampi. It is not on the menu but you can request it and they'll make it without any hesitiation. We always get the schrimp cocktail as an appeitzer and we never are disappointed. Great place to have a casual dinner on a nice summer night. Staff is so-so but never had a problem. Good place to take kids, not stuffy, very accomodating as I have gone there often with my two little toddlers. Definitely recommend, food is always fresh and atmosphere is just right.

This diner is the best diner in Brooklyn. I eat there atleast 4 times a week. The food is always so fresh. The food is plentiful. The service is wonderful. The fish is fresher than of you went to the fish market and cooked it yourself. My favorite thing to eat is broiled filet of sole. You cannot go wrong at Perry's. I am very critical about where I go to eat and I have to say that this diner is the cleanest and the best kept that I have ever been to. They have an A rating by the New York City health department and this is definitely something that is so important and that's why this is truly the best diner. They even have entertainment on certain nights. Such a great place!

I totally loved this place. The food was excellent, as well as, the service. Love the location of the place too. We don't have many places like this in the area, so Peaches has added a niceness. I had the gumbo and the black risotto with bbq prawns (the special of the day) and I was absolutely pleased and satisfied. My friend had the sampler platter and it was so good too. I would go there again, again and again.

By far the best dim sum restaurant that I've found in the last six years I've lived in New York. It's a bit further away for Manhattanites, but worth the long ride on the D train. Specialties include roast suckling pig, Chiew Chou fun gor, and the usual ha gow, siu mai, cha siew bao... plus some types of dim sum that the chefs ""invent"" -- freshness of every dish, huge variety, consistent quality, friendly/helpful staff makes up for the often-times long wait amongst the hungry and cranky crowds. It gets very busy so expect to share tables with others. As someone who has grown up spoilt by cheap and yummy dim sum in San Francisco and Hong Kong, Ocean Port is about as good as it gets in the New York metropolitan area. In fact, the food is so good that my fiance and I have ordered their food for our upcoming wedding in the Hamptons -- guess we are quite willing to go far for good food!

I ordered swordfish and thought it was amazingly delicious. Very fresh and flavorful. Drinks were great and staff super friendly. I can't wait to go back. I view myself as a food snob but I couldn't find anything in my meal that didn't satisfy me. Next time I visit my friend that is where we are going!

Great place, Exceptional service, great owner on the side and the choice of food is huge. Their appetizers are to die for, and from the main dishes cipura, levrek marine and seafood casseroleare the best.I highly recomended place

Really surprised that no one has rated this place yet. If you are from New England, or just like it, this place is a nice refresher from most of the Manhattan / Brooklyn hip scene with is too much of the same over and over again. The lobster is fresh and well made, I also dig the chowder. Corn has seemed hit or miss depending upon the day, but never bad really. Fun to sit on those silly picknik benches inside!

I couldn't believe my ears when the Maitre'D informed me that the Chef was from the now defunct Little Charlies of Kenmare St. My Father was taking me there before I could pronounce the word scungelli.(over 50 yrs. ago). Since I am boycotting Vincents (see that review) Desy's is the place. No schleep to Long Island or Manhattan. If you are a fan of Italian seafood--- the sauce is good --get the hot on the the side for dipping and to add a little more zing to the hot enough medium. The quality ,the presentation, the prices and the service were outstanding. No complaints.

4 HOURS FOR DELIVERY FOR FRIED SHRIMP CHICKEN AND FISH AND I LIVE 10 MINUTES AWAY I placed the order at about 5:30pm for a little over $50 worth of food for my two kids and i. a little pricey but their food is supposed to be good. My grub hub account said i would receive my order 7:00-7:10 but i got a confirmation email at 5:49pm that our order would arrive between 7:25 and 7:35 about two hours later but i was ok with that because i read other reviews that their delivery time was about that. at 7:56pm no food and hungry children. I called the restaurant at that time and brought it to their attn. i was calm and polite assuming something had happened but still willing to work with them. i was placed on hold for a little under 10 minutes until someone picked up the phone and HUNG IT UP. i called back and young lady answered the phone "bedstuy fish fry please hold" i tried to explain to the girl that i was holding and hung up on but she ignored me and still placed me on hold. i held for about 5 minutes and hung up to call back again I never got anyone. i called about 7 times only to receive the message that they were not accepting phone calls. it is now a little after 8:15pm. i called grub hub at about 8:20pm to cancel the order, after explaining what happened and her looking up my order, I was told by their rep that they were going to contact the restaurant to find out what happened after holding for a while, the rep got back to me at about 8:35pm to tell me the restaurant said my order was on the road and would be here in TWENTY MINUTES!!! DELIVERY GUY SHOWED UP AT 9:25 AS I WAS WRITING MY REVIEW HE WAS NICE. TOLD ME OT CALL BACKTO SPEAK OT THE MANAGER. I CALLED AT 9:38, SPOKE TO DANISHA AND WAS TOLD THE MANAGER TONY WAS GONE FOR THE DAY EVEN THOUGH THE ESTABLISHMENT WAS STILL OPEN FOR ANOTHER HALF HOUR. I WILL CALL BACK TOMORROW
