It is a great place overall. The DJ is awesome, the food is good, and the owner is easy to work with. I only deducted a star for small issues with the waitstaff. 1- 20% tip is already paid for and they had a tip jar out. 2- each of them took a slice of cake, we bought that cake. I consider it unprofessional. I used to do catering and you don't touch anything until it's time to throw it away. 3- one lady kept rushing us, there was no need for that. 4- they hide the food afterwards- we had some latecomers and it was a struggle just to get them a plate. The food is paid for, I feel they want to take it. Plus, we brought some of our own as well.

The Experience at iFLY When you come to iFLY get ready to be blown away – literally. It’s thrilling. It’s amazing. Experience the feeling of freefall as you float on a smooth cushion of air. There’s no parachute, no jumping, and nothing attaching you to planet Earth. It’s just you FLYING in the air. Super fun, super safe and super cool! Here’s what you can expect during your experience at iFLY: ARRIVAL: Plan to arrive an hour before your scheduled flight time. CHECK IN: Use one of our handy touchscreen kiosks to check-in. If you have not completed your waiver, you will need to do so before flying. Flyers under the age of 18 will need to have a waiver completed by their guardian prior to flying. Once you have checked in and your waiver has been completed one of our friendly flight crew members will assist you in putting on your flight wristband. This means you are ready to fly. PRE-FLIGHT: After check-in, head to the flight deck viewing area to watch people, just like you, flying. FLIGHT TRAINING: The certified flight instructor assigned to your class will find you in the viewing area and guide you to the classroom for flight training instruction. During training you will learn proper body position for flying and hand signals the instructors will use while you are flying. Remember, relax and have fun! GEAR UP: After flight training your instructor will take you to the gear up counter where you will receive your helmet, flight suit and googles. FLYING: Your instructor will lead you to the flight chamber and will be with you during the entire flight experience, helping you enter the flight chamber (just lean in) and spotting you the entire time, to help you fly like a superhero. POST-FLIGHT: Your instructor will lead you out of the flight chamber, you will de-gear and receive your personalized flight certificate. Although I have attended several events here in the past, this one was truly special. It was my sister's wedding and our family expected the best, and I can assure you-that's exactly what we got! When one of the guests felt ill- the staff were right by her and my sister's side to comfort and assist them. We got there fairly early so I didn't expect everyone to be so courteous and accommodating. The food was excellent. They incorporated some of our traditional dishes with GPH's platinum menu. The bridal attendant was wonderful-super nice and she assisted not only the bride but the whole bridal party as well. The owners-Alice and Michael were also great. I will always cherish the memory of my sister's wedding.

If you want your child to have one-on-one support, counselors that will build a bond with their teacher, and constantly encourage your child’s academic growth than this is the place to bring your child. This place doesn’t have enrichment programs but homework assignments are completed. Let me repeat HOMEWORK IS COMPLETED!!! For working parents this means everything. When I get home around 7PM I can study, or take the ‘time’ to teach him something new. Pauline is wonderful with the children and my son enjoys going here. Without hesitation I recommend this afterschool!!!

We just had our wedding at the Prospect Park Boathouse (aka Audubon Society) this past Saturday, October 22nd. Ellen and Jackson were great from the very start. Prompt in replying and answering questions, and pros of the highest order in setting your worrying, anxious, wedding-planning minds at ease! It is very obvious that they have been in business for a long time, and know precisely what to expect, what will work and what will not, and were extremely patient when we changed our minds about various details. I really appreciated their honesty in telling us what they thought would be best for the type of reception we were aiming for. Now, on to the food! The food is really fantastic! It's a bit nerve-racking wondering how well a tasting for two people will translate to actually feeding 150+ guests, but it could not have been better! Many of our guests complimented the food, saying it was very tasty, looked lovely, and was good and hot (nothing worse than cold food on a chilly evening!). They provide quite a number of selections to choose from--everything from the hors d'oeurves to entrees to side dishes--and their wedding cakes are not only absolutely gorgeous, but taste delicious! The staff were friendly and helpful, and did not seem too put out by our rowdy guests. If you are looking for a caterer either at the Boathouse or elsewhere, you really can't go wrong with Movable Feast. Ellen and Jackson have been in business for over 30 years for good reason!
