Balsamon Rosenblatt & Cohen PC
I have been in this business for many years and I have used several law firms before I met Balsamo, Rosenblatt & Cohen, P.C. They are simply the best! They cover every Housing Court in New York City on a daily bases.TENANTS RIGHTS and LANDLORDS RIGHTS. They are experts in both. They are feared by other attorneys. They have the knowledge to litigate your case properly and they have the ability to take your case to Trial if the matter can not be settled. I gave them 1 of my 7 buildings as a test. They did such a great job that they got a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th building until they got my entire account. The best part of using them is that they save me tens of thousands of dollars every year over what my other attorneys were charging me.They do better work. They charge less and they are available to take my calls 24/7 on Robert Rosenblatt's cell phone number (917) 838-1220. They fight like Pitt Bulls for your rights. They are intimidated by no one and they have a tremendous knowledge of the law.You can not do better than this firm. I give them my highest recommendation!!

Etta Ibok Law Office
My husband and I were accused of child abuse in 2014, and Ms. Ibok was my court-appointed attorney. She's a consummate professional: very attentive, organized and detail-oriented. She makes sure to take time and explain her strategy to her client, making certain that they understand fully all the proceedings and outcomes. She's very sincere, it was evident that the outcome of every hearing mattered to her, as it did to me. She was very compassionate and listened to me without judgment. Sometimes I left her office after 10 pm – she spent many hours and late nights on my case, studying it closely, pouring over every detail and preparing me. When she offered to file for a 1028 hearing, no one (including caseworkers) believed it would work, but we got the kids back before the final ruling. 9 months later, the courts gave us our children back to us permanently. Everything she did was in my best interest and following her advice was the best thing I could do for my family and my own sanity.

Wilson A. LaFaurie
Wilson LaFaurie singlehandedly saved my friend's life. Falsely accused and imprisoned for 9 months in a domestic violence case backed up by pictures and medical evidence, Wilson believed in his case and dedicated his time, energy, and effort to at least getting my friend off with a misdemeanor and time served rather than 4 felonies with 7 years. The price of a great lawyer is worth every penny when your loved one gets their life back. With Wilson, there was always a high level of confidence and always walked us through the process. Wilson not only got my friend out of jail and out of a 7 year sentence but he got EVERY SINGLE COUNT ACQUITTED. Without Wilson LaFaurie, my friend would still be in prison for 7 years. In a case where there was no hope, he did what was nearly impossible and brought true justice. The jury believed in my friend's story so much that they waited outside of the courthouse to speak with and hug my friend. Wilson shined a light on the truth.

Once again, the wife has to help the husband to help his boss. With out names there is a Warehouse in E. New York Brooklyn, that is privately owned. Part of this facility was leased with a lease to a sub-tenant who was suppose to be out this past Monday the 4th. The owner lost his cool, and was ready to well you know. ( I'can't type the rest.) I found Robert, on a Saturday, and he answered his cell rightway. Brooklyn based willing to travel to see client on Monday. For both of them it seemed like a good fit. Monday meeting, and formal paperwork to be filled. Unless having an attorney present makes this other sub-tenant move. Didn't ask anything about fees; but I do see there is a special on yelp. on the phone, and I hate to assume but all will be dealt with Monday. I think a new business connection for two Brooklyn born business men.will go well. I'm hoping to refer him to my cousin also in Brooklyn, who maybe having landlord /tenant issues down the line.

Jay Simon Law Office
GREAT ATTORNEY! He is the kindest and warmest attorney I have ever come into contact with...exceptionally bankruptcy attorneys. I spoke with 3 others bankruptcy attorneys when I decided to file and he was the only one that spoke to me as an individual, patiently explained the process and was willing to file my case before I paid him in full-no other attorney was willing to do that. He understands that the reason you are claiming bankruptcy is because you are broke and most of us don't have $1500 to shell out at one time. In addition to his pleasant demeanor he is good at what he does! He made sure of all the details before the hearing and made sure I was well prepared. He is very accessible via phone or email. We did our entire transaction over the phone and email. The first time we met was the day of my hearing. So for people with a busy schedule he is very accommodating. I would HIGHLY recommend him.

Vladislav Sirota - Sirota Vladislav
Maybe someone won’t believe in what I am writing the truth, but it was so. Not so long ago I bought a rather expensive car, but it was factory damage. Guarantee placed – was given nothing. I decided to apply for legal aid, asked friends; they prompted to refer to Vladislav Sirota. He gave me a detailed consultation and made an appointment at his office. In the office, there were no queues, sat about 10 minutes and I was called. After hearing all of the recommendations, I went back to the car salon, but I was denied again. When I asked for a written refusal I was told that all the specialists are busy. After that my nerves could not stand and had to invite lawyers in this firm. With the help of my lawyer I was able to return the car in the showroom and the court fully reimburses legal expenses. If there is any question, I recommend applying only to this company.

Vladislav Sirota - Sirota Vladislav
I have to say, most times we have questions that really doesn't require you to visit or pay an exorbitant amount of money to an under qualified lawyer. Mr Sirota is perhaps an exception to this profession. Not only is he well informed and an excellent attorney, he was most helpful in answering my queries via phone and gave me an honest and best advice possible for my situation. He returned my call within a reasonable amount of time and did not mind that I had a mere question about an immigration law and not a case. Trust me, after speaking to many lawyers the whole morning, who supposedly have 'free consultation', he was a delight to talk to. Explained the rules to me in pure layman terms and also the best possible routes for me. He put my mind at ease and he generally seems to be the kind of person who really want whats best for his clients.

Vladislav Sirota - Sirota Vladislav
I hired Vladislav Sirota last year to handle a case for my uncle who was living abroad. I had a lot of concerns in the case due to the fact that the U.S. denied his entry previously. Several lawyers we met with previously even told us that we may not be able to overcome his inadmissibility. He was honest with my family about the challenges in the case, but he also gave us a clear strategy on what we needed to do to win my uncle's waiver case. Last week, we found out the great news that my uncle's waiver was granted and he was permitted entry into the country! I can't tell you how happy our family is and how glad we are that we did not listen to the other lawyers who said it would be too hard. I highly recommend Sirota firm to anyone seeking an immigration lawyer.

Frekhtman & Associates
I visited Frekhtman & Associates for my case associated with medical malpractice. The lawyers understood my situation completely and then took charge of my case. Although my case was quite complex but they didn’t gave up and helped me with my case and obtained great results. The lawyers answered all my queries I had throughout my case and very approachable and friendly. I am very satisfied with the legal help that I received from the lawyers of Frekhtman & Associates for my medical case. They will provide you reliable assistance when you need it the most. My lawyer was a sharp strategist and truly cared for me and my needs. He had a successful past case and I highly recommend him for any of the client.
Tips & Advices
When it comes time to choose a lawyer, you should start by searching close to home. If you do have attorneys you are familiar with, ask who they believe would be best for you. After going through personal references - especially from individuals who had similar needs - you should broaden your search through public information resources. You can call your area's attorney referral service or check legal organizations like Martindale-Hubbell. There are other resources available online, such as yellowpages.com. You can check websites for client reviews and other third-party forms of approval.
If you sign documents and you come across a word you don't recognize, or you need help to navigate important employment or real estate paperwork. Also, during times when personal matters intersect with legal proceedings, you might need to have an advocate to prevent your emotions from getting in the way. If you've been accused of a crime or are in a terrible financial situation, you can find an attorney who will work with what you have available.
When you hire a lawyer, you're agreeing to work with someone over a certain period of time. The more forthcoming the lawyer appears to be with individual needs, the better.
  • You need to ask questions about how the attorney will communicate with you and what responsibilities you hold in the relationship.
  • The attorney should let you know the best channel for quick communication and you need to inform him or her when you want updates.
  • You should also ask questions to get to know the attorney as an individual in order to ensure this is a person you can trust. Ask about their legal philosophy and how he or she views the lawyer/client relationship. Ask as how to keep fees down or what daily disruptions you should expect from a long legal battle.
You need to ask about every possible fee that will come up when working with an attorney. You should request a list of all costs in advance so you won't be surprised by additional expenses like overhead. Also determine exactly when you will start being billed. You want to inspect paperwork carefully. If the attorney charges you for his or her experience, you need to make sure he or she will perform tasks personally and not hand it off to an assistant. Find out if the attorney has a flat fee or charges by the hour. Many civil lawyers work on contingency. Make inquiries about how the lawyer plans to provide service for your money and what you can do if you start to feel unsatisfied with his or her performance.
You can ask how many similar cases they have handled and if they have special skills or training that applies specifically to your needs. Lawyers can't mention clients by name, but you should ask for basic details about identical past cases. You should check their office for the appropriate certifications and diplomas. You can also ask how long he or she has practiced law and request information that demonstrates the practice's success. Look for precise details such as percentage of cases settled out of court.
