Dynasty Pediatrics PLLC
December 18, 2014 by David Ray R. (Verified ZocDoc Patient)We cannot be happier with our pediatrician, Dr. Marina Klotsman, as she is a good doctor who on top of her medical expertise gives us good advice on child rearing. She does not have a tendency to give unnecessary prescriptions and tests, which fits well with our preferences. She is very natural with kids, and our toddler loves coming to see her. This is great, because when our son was a bit younger he could not stand any doctors' visits. She has a new office on Ocean Pkwy next to Ditmas, which has relatively short waiting room time. This location has free patient parking, which is rather rare in Brooklyn. We recommend Dr Klotsman to all our friends. If you want to see a lot of smily faces, check out her office's (Dynasty Pediatrics) Facebook page._________________________________https://www.facebook.com/pages/Dynasty-Pediatrics/171286609703343

Dr. Leonard Grossman
It's been at least 2 years since my surgery with Dr Grossman. I am very pleased with results and the care I received at his clinic. The doctor is very different in every way from other plastic surgeons I have consulted with in NY. Down to earth, honest and reasonably priced. I remember the operating room actually being warm and not cold, warm blanket and hot tea after the surgery were a big plus. No pain at all after surgery for reasons I can't explain.I recommend Dr Grossman highly as the top plastic surgeon in NYC.

I've been seeing Dr. Westfried for a few years now. Absolutely love him! I referred him to a few friends already and they all had positive things to say about him. Dr. Westfried is super friendly and you can ask him anything. I first went to him when I had a major eczema flair up and he was able to prescribe some stuff that fixed it immediately. He also told me what to do and not do prevent it from acting up again.

HI EVERY BODY. THIS IS MY CLINIC, I WAS THERE LAST FRIDAY AND IT WAS SO DIRTY ( I WANTED TO THROW UP). AS A WOMEN'S HEALTH CLINIC IT SHOULD BE CLEAN LIKE EVERY OTHER FACILITY. ALSO, THEY HAVE NEW INTERNS THAT DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING, THEY NEED TO GO TO A HOSPITAL SETTING TO GET PROPER TRAINING. I'M ATTACKING PICTURES OF THE DIRTY WALLS, DETACHED SEATS AND FLOORS.

Dr. Westfried is amazing. I have been going to him for ten years. From acne to cosmetic.. This doctor knows his stuff! I went elsewhere once, and it nearly destroyed my face.. Dr. Westfried was able to correct the damage. Never again! I will only go to Dr. Westfried. His staff are friendly, professional and reliant. I would be lost without this doctor..

I can't believe it took me this long to find Dr. Westfried! He is the best dermatologist I have ever gone to. The man really knows his stuff! He was so considerate he made sure the prescription he wrote for me wasn't overpriced. Friendly staff too!

Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
