Back To Health Physical and Occupational Therapy
Whoa, before I really even got started I had a bad experience. I had just got my foot in the door and was completing paperwork. It seems the ?Office Manager (sorry do not know her name, woman with blonde-hair and heels) feels at ease confronting and really berating the receptionists in front of all the clients who are in the waiting area. She was loud and mean. Her words should not even have been said in private to the workers, and her attitude was really so off-putting. And she did this in full earshot and in full eye's view of me and the others. I was upset as a new client and I would have picked up and left if anyone spoke to me like that. I spoke to another patient seated near me, and was told this is par for the course and not even an unusual happening. Whoa, all workers deserve more respect than that. It left me speechless and with a really bad intro into for my appointment. I'll try to be back on here to share how my injury was actually treated. But for the record, this manager of sorts really needs to improve her manner and to treat others as she would like to be treated. To all the women who were put down by her talking-to, apologies from me as it should come from her. I feel for you. I really hope she will learn to do better. Employee, patient, manager, no matter who you are or who you think you are, there is no substitute for proper courtesy.

Woods Rehabilitation
My therapist was Jason. His rate is $110 because he is a "level 3" therapist. Psoas offers $15 off your first massage, bringing my 60-minute one "down"

They were able to get me in same day and check in was seamless. It's nice to have a place that doesn't cause more pain in my already painful back.

Body Wellness Physiotherapist Centre
I've recommended countless friends to Chiro-Medical and to see Tracy, specifically. She has tremendous insight into the physical condition and can diagnose with a degree of detail that I've never dealt with in past chiropractic interactions.

Buckland Physiotherapy Services
The office is conveniently located on Pine St for those who work in the Financial District. The staff is very good about reminding patients about appointments and there is effectively no wait once you arrive at the clinic.

Homeside Rehab
This company provides quality therapy for elderly patients in their homes. They are compassionate and the care they give is truly helpful.
Tips & Advices
At the first appointment with a physical therapist, Expect an overall assessment of your condition, which may include exercises to understand your range of motion, balance, and strength. Based on that information, the therapist can then design a regimen.
Physical therapists can work in a variety of environments. While many choose to work in a physical therapy clinic, others will operate out of hospitals and are also able to make house calls to help patients who need in-home assistance and rehabilitation.
Physical therapists can specialize in sports medicine, women's health, geriatric, neurologic, orthopedic, pediatric, and cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions, among others.
See a physical therapist following a serious muscle or bone injury, especially if pain doesn't go away within a few days, is recurring and dull, or is frequent and sharp. Book an appointment if medication is not helping or if your doctor recommends it.
The majority of health insurance plans do include physical therapy treatment, but the amount covered and the co-pay for patients varies person-to-person. Medicare and workers’ compensation both cover physical therapy.
