Adams Street Florist & Fruit Baskets
This is the coolest shop! The flowers were delivered within an hour! My delivery was delivered the same day, even though it was called in so late. It was an emergency, last minute delivery. And I got an call, screaming at how marvelous the flowers were.

One of A Kind Flowers
We used this florist for our wedding in Marina del Ray and were very happy with their services. The people there were really nice and accommodated our selection and budget. If your looking for a florist for your wedding this is the place to go to.

Lolita Flowers
The woman was rude and did not assist me in a nice manner. There prices are also pretty expensive compared to other places. I would not recommend this place save your money for something better

Madison Florist
Very poor service, had to return arrangements twice, spoke with Robert who became irate when I stated that the flowers were not fresh and the proprietor whose name is, George, was very confrontational and terse when it came to client service. The arrangement I received was subpar flowers, not fresh. I received the arrangement on Monday and they are already dead today, Wednesday.

My friend Max graduated Sterile Technician course in Multyprep, Inc. just two months ago.He was so well prepared for the test! He passed the test from the first time with high grade! He got his Sterile Technician job in University Hospital one week after his test. His dream about Hospital Job came true because of this excellent school. Thank you School’s manager Gelya! Thank you instructor Rene! You are the best!

Diamond Flower Shop
Horrible service, late delivery, flowers look recycled from a funeral. I do not recommend them for anything, unless you want dead looking flowers with terrible service!

Carroll Gardens Florist Corp
My husband and I were enjoying a Saturday stroll when we came across this florist. As we stopped to smell the Wisteria plant, an old man (owner I presume) came out of the premises and stood within eyesight of us. I moved to the left of him and picked up a herb plant to smell. On picking up another sage plant, he muttered under his breath, 'I wish you would stop picking the plants up!' SERIOUSLY, IT'S A NURSERY!!!!! I turned and asked the man if he had a problem with my picking up the pots, to which, clearly embarrassed that i'd heard his previous comments, he put his head down and said 'No'. I put the plant back in it's place and told the man I would not be buying anything from this store.....ever! Looking back, I wish i'd accidentally, (on Purpose), dropped his plant by his feet. I can not believe the rudeness of this man. Even if they had the best plants in the area, which they don't, I would not give this shop a second glance, again.
Tips & Advices
Making the trip to your local florist means you can actually get the chance to stop and smell the roses. But the hours they are open can be more restrictive.
Online flower shops, work with wholesale florists near your area to ensure they deliver your order promptly. Since cut flowers don't have a long shelf life, these Internet-based companies take your request and contract it out to a florist in your locale to design it and drop it off at your home or office. While purchasing flowers online is convenient - there are a few things the online stores cannot offer patrons. You can't smell the fragrance of flowers and you can't touch the petals or leaves before you buy the plant. Additionally, when you buy a bouquet over the Internet, you're basing your decision on a stock photo of the item instead of the actual one that will arrive at your doorstep.
Yes. These experts can tell you the best ways to take care of your plants or how to properly cut the stems of flowers to ensure they last longer in your vase. Ask them vase to use with which flower and how much water and plant food you should use to prolong the life of your bouquet or potted plant. Even though retail florists don't usually grow the blooms or plants themselves, they do know the best ways to keep your arrangement looking fresh for longer.
Flowers, especially the lotus, figure prominently in Hindu and Buddhist religious ceremonies, as well as in these two ancient religions' wedding customs. Many florists provide garlands of flowers to decorate and festoon the functions with.
Lilies, as well as daffodils and tulips, are especially popular around these spring holidays.
