YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

The place is like a grand ballroom with lots of space and choices, the staff are extremely courteous . And it's in the heart of times square!

Great theatre... no hooligans like in times square and nice little places to eat around. Got some free tickets for a show and thought that was cool so I'm writing a review as a thanks.

To Abadon75, You supposed to rate the movie theater not the movie showing at this theater.
old school theatre. No stadium seating and the seats are old. Each theatre seats about 200 and the sound is not surround sound.
66 11th Ave
The seats in this cinema are so old and uncomfortable that it makes even the most entertaining movie unbearable. Plus there's barely any drop between the rows of seats so half the screen is covered by the head of the person in front. Avoid if possible.
550 2nd Ave
kind of a dirty place. the theater rooms are not cleaned as well as they should be cleaned

A great IMAX theater with possibly the biggest screen in new york city!!! The service is great and prompt with moderate pricing on snacks. The ticket prices are worth it as you are looking at a monster of a screen and it completely takes over your vision. Would recommend this theater to any movie buff!!

My husband and I went to this theater last weekend - after we'd purchased tickets and stood in line for popcorn too long (the staff was not remotely customer service oriented), we found out the movie wasn't starting on time because the previous showing was only halfway through. We talked to the rude, indifferent, and unprofessional manager, who grunted that we could get a refund, but had no interest in apologizing for our inconvenience. We decided on a different movie which started as scheduled (in a dirty theater), but then were subjected to stale popcorn, a Diet Coke instead the regular Coke I'd ordered, and the again indifferent attitude of the staff who shrugged and claimed we couldn't get Coke because the machine didn't work, and instead gave us a watery Sprite. In a city with this many movie theaters, we will never choose to see a movie here again.

A THEATER IN THE HOOD WITHOUT THE HOOD For some reason it still seems like MJ Movie Theater is still one of Harlem's best kept secrets. Here's why: -Save a few bucks: Matinee prices everyday--unheard of in Manhattan -During the Summer they show free kids movies(like rugrats, etc) during the week -The theater is attractive & spacious! I enjoy looking at the photos of black actors that fill the walls. -The staff is polite& bathrooms always clean -Most importantly, the movie goers come to enjoy the movie, IT'S JUST A GREAT SPOT!: it's a great first date place, girls hang-out spot, a great kids spot: teen or children's spot or my personal fav :a great getaway spot with a latte & bottle of water-- and if the movie is good all the better !
