Infinity Moving & Storage
If you are looking for the best company I have ever worked in my many moves I've made in my life, look no further than Infinity Moving. Hands down the best company in terms of service and professionalism. From the people they have in the office to the guys that actually hump the furniture, they are all super friendly and willing to go the extra mile to ensure the customer is left satisfied. I can't say enough about the way my move was meticulously planned and that plan was then executed to perfection. Right on time, no damages, and best of all no excuses. They give you an honest, fair price and stick to it. I even had to add a small table that I had overlooked when getting my estimate and the foreman told me not to worry about it. He would take care of it for me. I wish I found this company years ago as it would have saved me a lot of headaches dealing with so called "professional" movers in the past. These guys are the true professionals and I would not hesitate to recommend them to a family member or anyone else who happens to ask my opinion.

North East Movers
We used North East Movers for our recent move. Since we've moved almost every year for the past few years we consider ourselves experienced movers - and have had our fair share of terrible movers but North East Movers were fantastic! From our first call, to the estimate, the paperwork and the day of the move the team was great. Most movers ignore you once you sign everything but their sales rep. kept in touch and answered any questions that came up - he even called the day of the move just to make sure things were going well. The team that came to load the truck was wonderful. They were professional and polite - and in company uniforms. Clearly not the day laborers that we've gotten with other movers. They were really careful with our stuff and made sure everything was protected and loaded correctly. The proof they were great, not one broken item. I've honestly never had that happen in a move before. If I would have to move again, I would definitely call them again!

Divine Moving & Storage LTD
I am going to start by first thanking divine moving & storage. They defiantly nailed it on this move. I had to relocate back to Maine because of my sick mother and the stress of that and moving was so overwhelming. So I filled out an online survey on a website and was bombarded by phone calls and divine moving was the last one I spoke with. I was giving the run around by plenty of companies but when I spoke with the lady from divine moving I felt a sort of relief. She explained everything the others did but he seemed a lot more confident and knowledgeable of the industry. I needed divine moving to do everything last minute because of this short notice of moving and they did almost perfect. When I say almost perfect, perfect would be a free move. So to sum it all up everything they said would happened and the price was kept in my budget as promised. They are moving my sister as well and I know they will do a great job as well. THANKS AGAIN.

North East Movers
This was my first moving experience across country. I was so pleased that it was indeed a very positive experience. I made many phone calls, wrote many emails regarding pricing, availability, etc. I did my homework. North East Movers was the winner. From the very first phone conversation I had with their sales representative, I was comfortable with the whole process presented to me. He was patient with my many questions and concerns. He was reassuring, thorough, and very professional. Initially, he quoted me a price for the shipping of 30 boxes of various sizes, from NY to VA. After do some additional inquiries with other company I received a lower quote on my upcoming move. I called him and asked if he could price match - and he did. I couldn't have asked for a better mover. They took care with loading my boxes and their customer service kept me updated timely. My goods arrived in good condition and on time. Thank you, North East Movers.

North East Movers
I had a long distance move, so smooth and relaxed from Delaware to Illinois. These people are great. They showed up on time and started to load everything very carefully. I had many pieces of heavy furniture so I thought that it was going to be a problem for them. But I hired professionals. They never complained. They brought large boxes, tape, blankets. I had lots of furniture but nothing got damaged. The price was really good and I made an excellent choice using North East Movers. They are such a serious company; after the work was done, their sales man at North East Movers contacted me to check if everything was good and if I was 100% satisfied as a customer. That also verifies their professionalism. I do not think moving would be that smooth and relaxed if they did not do it. Thank you guys for doing this job so good. I will recommend you to everyone looking for a great moving company.

North East Movers
They accommodated my last-minute date-change with no fuss, the moving team arrived early on the day, helped pack up the things I hadn't finished, and packed with great care. They were courteous, very careful with my stuff, and left NOTHING behind -- the first time in 5 moves that I've had a company not leave things for me to collect afterwards. I had more stuff than anticipated, so they ordered an extra truck which came quickly. Once at my new place, they unloaded fast, were happy to re-locate furniture when I changed my mind about where it should go, and went the extra mile to find ways to get things up the narrow stairs. These guys are amazing athletes! The guys obviously liked each other and seemed to enjoy their work. So, bottom line, very professional, great to work with, flexible in accommodating last-minute changes, and good value for money. What more could you ask for!

Divine Moving & Storage LTD
Divine moving & storage was recommended to us by a good friend, and I must say the recommendation proved worth it. Every interaction with the staffs at divine moving & storage were phenomenally professional, from the point of initial contact, to the visit to our house for a survey of the moving, to the actual move-day, when their friendly movers turned out and just got on with it. They knew it clearly what they were doing, packing our belongings, dismantling furniture if they needed to and loading it in a clearly methodical fashion, explaining or describing what they were doing whenever they felt we need to know. Unloading at the other end was just as efficient and professional. Unpacking was very quick and they reassembled the furniture they had to dismantle. They made our new house very much livable within short time by their expert hands. I would be glad to recommend them.

Divine Moving & Storage LTD
Moving is not an easy job to manage. It needs accuracy, skill, speed, innovation, commitment, dedication and professionalism. Movers of Divine Moving have all these key ingredients. That is why they are so successful. I heard a lot about this company before I used them. When I called there office, I talked with them about my move and after receiving a wonderful offer I hired them without wasting a minute. It was a great decision because these movers gave me a smooth and timely move. They came on time and they were well equipped. Vans were in great condition and movers managed to complete the entire move perfectly within the allotted time and charged exactly the same amount which was quoted initially. That is what I call real professional service. I am very happy with their service. I have made up my mind to use Divine Moving whenever I need to have moving services.

North East Movers
North East Movers did an awesome job! We had them come out and give a proper estimate, which really helped as we knew what to expect. 3 "sons" showed up, one wasn't feeling well and they called in another helper before he left so that they would have 3 on the move. They worked hard together to move our 2 bed plus den condo into a 3 story semi. The parking situations were difficult, there were many items and we have pets so dog fur covered some boxes etc, but they worked quickly and smoothly and we felt great about the care they gave to our belongings. They wrapped bigger items in blankets and taped the securely. As well they disassembled and reassembled our beds, which was so amazing as after a super long day of moving it's time to crash not assemble and we didn't have to. Such a great job, we would highly recommend their service! Thanks so much North East Movers!

My sister was moving from Connecticut to New York. I flew out there to lend a hand, but I'm telling you, none was needed. These guys thought of everything. From start to finish these guys were true pros. Big stuff, little stuff, odd shaped stuff, delicate stuff, you name it, they had it covered, no pun intended. I thought I'd be acting as a supervisor of sorts, but I only got in the way. I tried offering my help, but they wouldn't greet of it. I'm generally pretty good at helping, but moving is always such an odd thing. Unless you’re in the business or moved a lot, I don't think you ever get good at it. You could tell that these guys did this as a living. They made it look so easy. I talked about it for days afterwards. It was that interesting! I'm not sure what my sister paid, but she said it was very affordable. Nice work guys!
Tips & Advices
Yes, it’s best to empty drawers, wardrobes and chests before a move. Items always get knocked around a bit, and doors can fly open even if they’ve been taped. In fact, more often than not, movers will want to remove the drawers from a dresser--or disassemble the wardrobe to be more space-efficient.
Yes, it is customary to tip movers, but the amount varies widely. For full-service moves, a 5 percent tip is suggested, although, for extra service, some people go up to 10 percent . For small local movers, you can give each mover $10 for a few-hour job, or $20-$40 for jobs that take longer.
A bill of lading is the legal contract for the move. It provides a detailed receipt, in addition to a contract between the client and the mover. It authorizes the mover to transport the goods from one specific point to another, and it outlines the exact scope of services, with cost breakdown for those services. It also provides an itemized list of the inventory, and carrier liability protection for each declared item. Finally, it specifies the payment arrangement. Make sure to go over your itemized list extremely carefully before finalizing the paperwork--and get a copy of the full document. A good mover will go over everything on the bill of lading with the customer.
There are several items that moving companies will not move – those items will be listed on a document as “non-allowables.” These items typically fall in three categories: perishables, sentimental/personal items, and hazardous material. Perishables are food and plants. Sentimental/personal value is up to the client to decide, but usually includes jewelry, medical and dental records, personal paperwork, valuables and collectibles. Hazardous material is the tricky category, since it includes a lot of everyday items found in the garage, garden or kitchen. For example, cleaning liquids and pesticides both are considered non-allowable by many companies. Some go so far as to disallow nail polish and batteries.
A binding estimate means that the moving company cannot charge more than the stated amount, though they can lower the final bill if the scope of the job was smaller than expected. A non-binding moving estimate is more likely to wind up costing more than expected, since the movers can increase their rates for unforeseen variables like stairs, “long carry” and materials.
