Aspen Dental
I went to Aspen Dental on the recomendations of two of my neighbors, one for full dentures and one for a partial, also when talking with my daughter-in-law about needing to go to a dentist she referred me to Aspen saying alot of her staff and her herself have been very pleased with Aspen's dentistry.I knew I had an absess and had broken a tooth off at the gum line so it had to be done in spite of my phobia to dentists, I called and they got me in immediately, after x-rays and an examination Dr. Y explained to me what my options were,he could save my teeth but because of my gum disease could only hope for maybe three years before I would lose them and at pretty much the same cost of dentures.I decided on the daunting discission to go with the dentures.Next was a consultation with the office manager Josh to discuss cost and financing,I am fortunate that I have dental insurance but Josh will work with you with the financing that they go with.,he also schedules your appointments for impressions etc.It has been one week today that I had my extractions and got my immediates(which are temporary teeth that you wear for approx six months while your gums and tissue heals)they are very good looking and look like natural teeth, I have had no pain, soreness yes and have had to have a couple of adjustments which is very normal and Dr.Y seems to know exactly where the sore spots are.I would highly reccomend Aspen to anyone who is in search of a caring dental service, from the receptionist to all the staff have been very professional, personable and dedicated to make my journey with them as smooth as possible, yes Aspen Dental in Bristol has given me my smile back !!

Fear not the Dentist!Nearly blew off my first visit. So glad I didn't! What I found inside was a caring team that made me forget all about my dental phobia! Angela was such a Whiz taking xrays I didn't gag or anything. The Doctor explained everything to me so I could understand. He gave me my options and let me know what he thought was best. I felt good about having choices! They offered me some payment options and I was off to the races! I've had my cleaning done and I'm actually looking forward to the rest of the work! Great Job!

Checkup and Cleaning appointment.
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
