Hess Motor Inn
I pulled into the Hess Motor Inn in Bridgeport, Al looking for a place to stay around 9 o'clock p.m. As I drove up, all of the lights were off in the main lobby and the place looked pretty desolate other than one car pulled up outside. I pulled out my phone and googled to see if it was an operating motel (I was so tired from driving all day, I didn't care where I stayed at this point.) all of a sudden, I see the lobby lights come on and a man walks outside. I was a bit creeped out at this point so I just sat staring in my car. All of a sudden, he runs to my window, starts beating on it and I was scared to death to say the least. I roll my window down and he is belligerent, screaming at the top of his lungs, "get the f$&k out of my parking lot or I will hurt you!!! Get the f$&k out. This is my lot!!" I'm so surprised by this point that all I can say is I was trying to see if you were open and he continues screaming so loud, that spit is flying out of his mouth. I ask again, "are you open?" And he continues screaming saying the cops are on their way and he will hurt me if I don't leave. I still haven't figured out if this place is operating or not but if it is, it should be shut down immediately. No guest driving looking for a place to sleep should ever have to deal with someone who can barely speak English telling you to leave or he will hurt you. I hope to never travel through alabama again and I will be reporting this location to the Better Business Bureau. Shame on you sir. You make the Patels look bad
