Horrible horrible horrible! The waitresses are very nice, but clearly they are VERY understaffed! We were there for 3 hours, it took forever to get our food. By time it got there we were starving, we were so excited to eat. Until we did...IT WAS DISGUSTING! Applebees steaks are better, even the salad was wilted and gross. It is extremely expensive for terrible service and even worse food.

Well, my wife and I just ate at Relish and frankly it is the best meal in Breck. Everything appears the normal faire, but you soon discover the creativity given to each dish that makes each amazingly unique and wonderfully flavorful. The grilled calamari scattered over a fried avocado, the buffalo lasagna, the rainbow trout over corn risotto and asparagus, all paired with great wines and the option of a legendary “beer cellar”. The ambience is a welcoming and warm room which looks up to Peaks 8, 9, and 10, simply majestic. Our server Tracy was very attentive and took great care of us and Diane (I believe the manager/host) ensured that everything was exceptional… and it was. To wrap up a wonderful evening, the options for dessert and desert drinks are exceptional. The crème Brulee, Forbidden rice pudding, gelato are just to name a few.

The place is filled with Jamaican music. Decorations quite simple, in bright ""exotic"" colors. Service quick and friendly. Portions huge. However, menu is quite monotone, with standard cafeteria taste and not much originality or finesse. This is a place for younger nondiscriminating crowd.

Asking around a resort town for food recommendations can get you all kinds of different picks. But one name that consistently came up was Giampietro's. We were in town for 1 week and visited at least 3 times, some in our group 4 times. The pizza is the best, probably in Colorado, and is at least as good as NY, Boston and Philly pies and they serve the only slices we could find. Perfect for our shopping breaks. The rest of their menu was great, they had excellent specials and the prices were the lowest in town. Their dining room is small and cramped but cozy . . . until the door opens and they icy breeze comes in. Be sure to avoid the table by the door.

The Red Orchid is a great restaurant when one is hungry and wants to eat quickly. The staff is super friendly and the service is at lightning speed. The food, however is so-so and needs some fine tuning. The previous dining experience there was really good and yet my last one, last week, was a bit disappointing. My pork fried rice was a bit burned and my Kung Pao Shrimp was okay but there was zucchini in it. What Chinese food is made with zucchini?? Weird. Anyway, they need to improve the quality of their food and when they do they will have a winner.

The wait staff is very arrogant, the food was ok. It was just a very stressful meal. The waitress was rude, the manager chased her around like a puppy in love...not impressed.

For me and my sushi freak friends, this little family business was a culinary discovery of the year. The menu typical for a sushi place, offers also delicious eel, and crunchy crickets fried in syrup. Everything squicky fresh. Real wasabi, not some green colored horseradish. We came there tree times. Almost everything was delicious. Sushi with such a richness and subtelty of flavors, evoked in intensity of experience tasting of great wines. From many others, spider rolls are particularly worth trying. Only green tee icecream was below par. Try instead wasabi icecream with quite specific taste. Original Japanese green tee is a must if you want to know how real green tee shoud taste and look like. Hey, it is actually green! Service was excellent and gracious. Prices very modest . If you can tolerate rather ordinary although very clean ambiance, you'll get a sushi treat for a connaisseur.

The Hearthstone is set off Main Street in an old Victorian home that has been converted into a quaint restaurant. The atmosphere is lovely and romantic and the food is out of this world. Their martinis are amazing and the wine selection is bar none. The appetizers and entrees are quite varied and offer many choices for the finicky palate. I started with the succulent Crispy Lobster, proceeded by the Colorado Corn soup and and finished with the wonderful Ginger Sea Scallops. The range of tastes were beyond compare. My husband and I finished the evening with the Triple Chocolate Decadence Cake. We recommend this restaurant to everyone, especially those looking for a quiet date night. Moreover, there were no children present which is a *huge* plus for us. Totally top notch!

Spencer's steaks and spirits offers a convenient choice for residents of the Beaver Run resort. The food is very good and very well prepared. The staff is friendly, attentive and professional. Food choices were the typical steak house fare, but everything could be customized with your choice of seasoning. They even had experimental cinnamon butter which was a hit at my table. I found it odd that Salad was an additional item and not included with the meal. I also thought that the portions were a bit small given the price. Still my party and I had a great time and were very happy with our dinner

We are proud of our beautiful restaurant which is located in one of the most important historical buildings in all of Breckenridge," The O.K. Gaymon House", at 207 North Main Street. We have enlarged the original property and the building has not only been totally renovated but also turned into restaurant use by both the restaurant owner, Stacey Brooks Connolly, and the building owner, Peter Joyce of Rockridge Building Company. The O.K. Gaymon House, built in 1898, was the home of Oren K. And Augusta "Gussie" K. Childress Gaymon. Oren was the founder of Dillon's Enterprise, the first newspaper in Dillon, Colorado and he was also the third editor and publisher of the Summit County Journal. O.K., One of the county's first newspapermen, brought his printing presses over Boreas Pass and down Indiana Gulch with sled and wagon. Throughout the years the home has been a private residence and several offices. Just recently the home was renovated and turned into one of Breckenridge's newest and best restaurants, "The Warming Hut Restaurant". The O.K. Gaymon House has retained it's historical register and will continue to delight both locals and visitors for many years to come.
