Sears Appliance Repair
I made an appointment on a Monday and was told the technician would be here between 1 and 5 pm, and that I would be called prior to his arrival. At about 4:30 or 4:45 I called Sears and was told that now the arrival window was moved to 7:45pm.To say I was unhappy would be understating it. First of all the service appointments are made by people in India, which I had a really hard time understanding, and secondly I was quite upset that I made sure I was here before 1pm, and was never called for an update. This is just another reason I cancelled my Sears card which I have had since 1971, due to a very rude agent in the credit department (and yes, they contract that out to I believe Citibank). Also, every single household appliance we have purchased since 1971 has been Kenmore. No more!!!!On a more positive note, the technician was great, very efficient and knowledgeable. He was just very overworked.

Parts House Of Brandon
Like most people we Google search for whatever our needs are, so came across Parts House of Brandon for my A/C repair needs for a capacitor. It was this past Friday July 3, 2015 and it was 12:05pm but they were closed at 12pm holiday hours. The gentleman let me in and was happy to help. Neither less to say I had no resources to purchase the part cause I left it home. The gentleman wrote a invoice voucher and gave me the part in good faith. Therefore, I return to the store Monday around 4pm like I promise to pay for the part.Hence, where can you go in America and get customer care service like that. I told the gentlemend in the store, " you have a customer for life". My A/C was out it was the holiday weekend so you know the service rates were high. My home was 91 degrees upstairs. So to the entire staff at Parts House of Brandon. I want to thank you very much.James E Brown III

Parts House Of Brandon
Being a new small business owner in the area this company was so very welcoming and kind and I have found that is so very rare these days to find. Prices are the most reasonable, cost effective I have found by far. You can really tell they appreciate their customers and take pride in the business they run. They will most definitely be the company I depend on for all my business needs.

Sears Appliance Repair
I have a service contract for my central air conditioner and heat exchanger with Sears. For the past 5 years all service has been performed with no additional funds charged. Yearly tune ups and maintenance have been done and equipment has been kept running smoothly. Even freon was added without cost. Thank you Sears!

Tips & Advices
Aftermarket replacement parts can be perfectly safe and reliable, but be sure to do your research. If replacing a more integral piece, such as washing machine’s water pump or a thermostat for a busted water heater, it might be best to purchase new.
Replacement parts generally come with warranties extending anywhere from 30 days to five years, depending on the original price, the nature of the fix and the age of the part itself.
If you’re seeking new parts repair companies will generally mark up their prices slightly--particularly at a major national retailer. However, used parts are typically discounted.
Cheaper used appliance parts can be found online or at many local, independently owned retailers, along with ecommerce sites such as eBay. Major retailers, however, generally limit their selection to unused, full-priced options.
Second-hand appliance parts are generally anywhere between 50-75% cheaper than new ones, but warranties might not extend as long and the parts may be less reliable or come with a shorter lifespan. Be sure to research the source of any second-hand parts to ensure the dealer is reputable and the part itself reliable.
