DUMP! They are taking advantage of hurricane victims. Prices are too high. They make you pay in cash claiming the wi-fi is down due to Irma, after you pay they turn the wi-fi back on. No cups, no nothing. German roaches overrun this place. The only lock is in the door knob, the deadbolt is non functional, chain lock & slide lock are broken as well. The only thing good about it is the AC but the owner just barges into your room to make sure it's set on 74. Terrible experience :/

This was my Facebook post and here is a link to the screenshots I took of their response to my friend when he wrote a review there also I could post 10 photos and posted 10 of the 14 screenshots here under their photos on yellow pages. I also posted a few screenshots of what all their customer said and how they responded by offering this type of person bashing someone on their own Facebook page a free tab. I'm at a loss for wordshttps://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10155529980061427&id=623691426&ref=bookmarksI will never return to Acapulco Restaurant off of Lakewood Ranch Blvd. Last night it was one of the only places open for Taco Tuesday. We figured there may be a wait or could even be slow due to being short staffed from the hurricane. I was understanding for the first hour we waited after being seated and even had to go get our own drinks at the bar without receiving our food. I was at one point pretty upset after I had now received food just less than 2 hours after getting to the restaurant and the manager ignoring or walking away from our table to say they would be right back. We also had seen tables twice our size come in way after us and already finished with their meal when we still didn't have our food. You can read more of the whole story in my friends review he left on their Facebook page and my point of view I left in the comments. Even after the whole situation I figured I would just tell some friends, family, and business associates not to go there. But then last night on that same review one of their loyal customers began to personally attack us after seeing us complain at the restaurant. The restaurant also replied apologizing but not entirely taking responsibility for the points we were bringing up with the disrespect from the managers or who we think was a manager. We aren't really sure. Well their self proclaimed loyal patron continued to bash us. I get it ...we didn't see eye to eye but I wouldn't ever speak the way he was to us (please read his comments below on the post or screenshots provided) Then after all that was over we kinda just laughed it off. That was until the restaurant again replied today and offered him a free bar tab for supporting them through such a difficult time.... just please read the comments made by the restaurant because at that point I decided more people should know if possible how they work... they didn't offer to comp our food but instead offered a 20 percent discount which we offered them 20 bucks and said we won't ever be coming back ever again. After a few more minutes the manager took the 20 and said that's good then I guess. Take a look for yourself in the comments. I can't make this up.....Edit:I also want you guys to know that there is a lot of vulgar language in some of these comments before you click on the pictures.

My family and I bought a Groupon and decided to dine at Acapulco. The food was very good and the blood orange margarita tasty! When we checked out, we had an issue with redeeming the Groupon and to say the least, the way I handled it... It was not my finest moment. To their great credit, the server and the manager were polite and professional, let me "get it out" and made it work. Gentlemen, I took my frustration with Groupon out on you. Thank you for providing excellent customer service and handling the situation so professionally. Jim T.

This restaurant is so unprofessional! Workers were cursing the entire time. They weren't even working they were just sitting in a booth talking while they had customers there. I saw one of the worker drinking alcohol. Don't know if he was still on the clock but either way you shouldn't be drinking while in uniform. Other then that food was ok but not great. Never going back!

BEDBUGS!!! IT WAS A NIGHTMARE! PAID 85 DOLLARS FOR A ROOM AFTER DRIVING 20HRS, THE ROOM SMELLED DIRTY,AC BARELY WORKED,ROOM WAS DIRTY LIKE NOBODY CLEANED THE FLLORS,THE LADY HAD AN ATTITUDE ABOUT SHAMPOO WE NEEDED,THE SHOWER WAS BACKED UP SO WE ENDED UP IN 2INCHES OF WATER WHILGE SHOWERING,WOKE UP TO WELTS JUMPED UP AND FOUND A BED BUG,GOT MY FAMILY OUTSIDE AT 2AM TO CHECK IN OUR STUFF,PUT THE BEDBUG IN A BAG AND SHE WOULD NOT REFUND AND WOULDNT EVEN ANSWER THAT NIGHT,HAD TO SLEEP IN THE TRUCK. CAME HOME AND WE ARE COVERED IN BITES,OUR BABY SON OS TOO. SHE SAID WE NO HAVE BEDBUGS,YES THEY DO EVEN WITH EVIDENCE SHE DIDNT CARE TO INSPECT OR CHECK. HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE!!! THEY DONT EVEN CARE THEY HAVE THEM AND TOOK OUAR MONEY EVEN WITH PROOF THEY HAD BEDBUGS!!!MY POOR SON!!!
