A. Little Gentle Groomer
I just rescued a Persian cat whom was very matted. Andrea came to my house in her mobile van and was extremely gentle with my kitty. He van was clean and everything was in order before she started with my cat. Andrea took her time not to scare my cat and I got to hold my kitty while she shaved him. She is very loving and gentle with my cat, so much that he gave me kisses while she was shaving him. You can tell she really loves animals. My kitty is now off to a good start and happier than ever. I would highly recommend her.

Her generator isn't working so she plugged her van into my outlet which caused circuit outages - she complained about this!! Then she complained about the length of my dogs's nails (this woman had groomed them a couple of months earlier, so the nail problem was caused by her); then she complained about matts; when she was finished, I gave her a check for the amount she quoted, but she said she wanted $30 more because of the matts. I have never had such an awful experience. My little guy cried and I heard her loud voice - I was about 50 feet away so don't know what happened. Then she threatened to post photos on the internet - very weird. Never again.

We phoned to make an appointment 1 week prior (which she stated was her earliest available). She gave us a half hour window in which she would arrive. There was absolutely no mention that she would call before coming when the appointment was made. I was home waiting for her arrival during the scheduled window. Andrea called approximately 5 minutes before the earliest scheduled arrival time, however I could not get to the phone. I returned her phone call within 4 minutes and she stated she gave my appointment away because I did not answer to confirm the appointment. She was rude, as if it was my fault, and not at all apologetic and replied that since I did not answer my phone. she gave my appointment away to some one else. Do not waste your time....or she will waste yours!

Dog Gone Beautiful
Please read. I can't say enough for what they did for my paralyzed yorkie. When I called them I had been refused by 2 other groomers because of the length of time my dog would take. I explained what his issues were and although they had never groomed a small dog with paralysis they said they would try. They made him they're last appt the next day and took over 2 hours woth him. They were so patient with him and due to his disabilities let me stay with him so he was at ease. Alisha and Emily were so wonderful and I am so thankful that they were willing to groom him and not worry about loosing money for the length of time he took. All the staff members came to greet him and were so kind I am eternally grateful and will only use them in the future.

Rhonda's Pet Salon
Love this place..we took our dog there to get groomed and have his nails trimmed, he was a little skittish at first, but when we went to pick him up, he was running around happily and looked great. The place was clean and the people there were very nice, not to mention very fairly priced..we are so happy to finally find a good groomer...we have 5 dogs & she will get our business from now on. ..thanks rhondas :)

Andrea is by far the worse groomer I have had the misfortune of taking my dog to. She was rough with my little dog. I explained to her that my dog had severe arthritis in all her legs. When I came to pick her up I could hear her crying and yelping several yards from her van. When I opened the door, she had my dog's back right leg at a 45 degree angle to her body. My dog started limping immediately. I took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with a acl tear in that leg. My dog usually sleeps during grooming, not crying and trying to get away from the groomer like she did with Andrea. I'm totally amazed that she bills herself as gentle as she's the total opposite. Please don't submit your dog or cat to her inhumane treatment.

This Place is awful , CUT my dog ,GLUED her back together, LIED and said a Vet Did it. I had to take her to my vet After the glue wore off and I saw the Gash, she had an infection and got 8 stiches. Stay away if you love your dog cause this place is as shady as it gets!

Don't bring your dog here. Very irresponsible.
Tips & Advices
Many people fear that their pet will be injured at the groomer, but incidents of serious injury are infrequent. For minor injuries , it is appropriate the groomer pay the vet bill, and can usually be worked out between groomer and owner. For moderate to severe injuries, you can attempt to activate groomer’s liability insurance to cover medical expenses. However, be aware that most groomer contracts stipulate that the business does not assume responsibility.
Staff at groomers know that there is inherent risk when handling animals, and they are familiar with being snapped at or bitten. However, it is not a normal occurrence or something you should ignore. Many people choose to cover medical expenses or pay extra--at minimum, apologize and get the dog into behavior classes. It is a given that  you should sedate or muzzle the animal for all future grooming sessions.
It is always recommended to make an appointment to get your pet groomed. While some groomers, especially in the larger pet stores, can accommodate with short notice, popular neighborhood groomers are often booked out two weeks out or longer on weekends.
If your pet has sensitive skin, let the groomer know when you set the appointment. But be aware, all dogs have sensitive skin by human standards--their skin is much thinner. Therefore, you should be on the lookout for signs of sensitivity, and reduce it through regular grooming with gentle, natural shampoo and conditioner. Oatmeal shampoo is a favorite. Daily brushouts and omega oil supplements are recommended for every day at-home care.
For various reasons including insurance clauses and pet-owner relationship dynamics and behaviors, groomers prefer owners don’t stay with their pets while being groomed.
