Ate here as it was close to children's museum. Enjoyed our lunch and had a good server. Crab dip appetizer was delicious. Burger was 1/2 lbs, split it and had enough. Crab chowder was good. Bowl was sufficient for a meal. Kids menu includes fish, burger, hotdog, and Mac N cheese. Outdoor seating had live band. Indoor seating is tight.

I am from the midwest and love seafood. We ate at a number of places, many of which were quite good. But this is absolutely great quality seafood. Superb. Fresh, succulent, not complicated, but some nice unusual presntations and sides. Comfortable. Great staff. Will go again.

It's the best food, and by far, best service I've experienced in a long time. The staff members are courteous, friendly and really know their products. It's a beautiful place with lots of "oyster bar" charm. The owner/host is accommodating, charming, and makes everyone feel welcome. If there were more stars available, I'd give more! I can;t wait to return next time I'm in Boston.

We left a restaurant because they were so rude and ended up here. I am so glad we did, the crab cakes were the best I have ever had. Our server was super friendly and really made us feel at home. The clam chowder was very good, the ceasar salad was fresh, crisp and the dressing was spot on. It could have been dirty when one of the reviewers was there, I have no idea, but it was clean when we went, or we would not of eaten there. Excellent, the service was superior and very friendly

THis bar is great for after work drinks. It's classy, but not overdone,-- and great when the roof-deck is open.

This is a great place to go in downtown that's a guaranteed good time. I have gone here many a Saturday night and always had a good time. They usually have live bands on the weekend that play great music you can dance to. Defnitely get there on the early side because the lines at the door can get pretty long. The drinks are priced pretty well for downtown and the faneuil hall area especially. They often have beer specials too so be sure to ask the bartender. All in all I've always had a great time here for special occasions as well as just a fun night out.

We had a 7 pm reservation and we were seated right away - for some reason the host chose to seat us at a table right next to the door and the very noisy bar. I asked to be seated upstairs and when we got to the upper dining room there were plenty of available tables.\r The food was very good. My husband and I both had the ceasar salad (one would have been plenty for both of us). I had the flank steak (cooked perfectly) and my husband had the grilled swordfish (very good). The service was excellent. The drinks were very good. I would not hesitate to go back.

Wife grew up in Southy, so we grabbed some fish and chips while meeting some of her old friends at Castle Island, the food is good enough to rival any British or Irish pub I've been in. Only gave I 4 stars because of how crowded it was, but all the best places are! They also didn't have malt vinegar, just regular. You'd think a place with an good Irish name like Sullivan's might know how important that is, but the place was still awesome.

Oh! Hello there, warm weather! Well, warm weather was here a couple of Fridays ago when a friend and I were looking for a dinner place with outdoor seating before heading to the ICA. Atlantic Beer Garden was close by and, hey, what's better than a few beers before getting into intense artsy-talk? The entire place was packed, not surprising considering the weather, but we were seated right away. Hooray for a nice breeze while you chow! Service was a smidge slow for my tastes - and I'm pretty low maintenance. Granted, it was quite busy, but I sat with a sad empty beer glass for, like, 15 minutes it seemed before I was asked if I wanted another. The food was reasonable priced, though not exceptional in quality. My friend and I were disappointed by the heavy cheese curtain covering the Spinach and Artichoke Dip. I must admit - the fries were really good (it took an effort to stop eating them after I was already full). I'd likely go there again if I was in the area - it is convenient if heading to the ICA. Plus, I dug the beer selection, and standard chain-type fare isn't always a bad thing :-)

We tried out North 26 for Restaurant Week, party due to the good reviews we read on yelp and opentable. I feel like we went to a totally different place. \r \r In restrospect, we should have been concerned before we got there. We walked through Faneuil Hall, past Ames, Kingfish and McCormick's, all of which were crowded, and got to North 26 which was almost empty. \r \r The calamari app mentioned in other reviews was good. No where close to as good as what some of the other reviwers wre saying. Good, and not rubbery, but not more than that. \r \r Our server was attentive. The drinks (raspberry mojito, cucumber martini) were good and refreshing. \r \r The problem was the entree. My wife ordered the steak medium rare.It came out and was totally well done. She sent it back and asked for medium rare. The manager and another member of the staff came by very and were apologetic. A new steak came out and was way overcooked again. She complained again and the manager glared at her. Excuse me? You really don't know the differece between a red medium rare and a pinkish-brown medium well? Really? Why is that our fault? \r \r We ended up leaving. There are way too many good places in Boston to put up with this place. Even the best food (probably the calamari) isn't as good as similar food you can get at dozens of other places in Boston.\r \r Please listen to the handful of people giving this place 1s and 2s. The food isn't great and as others have said, the place was empty. That in itself is a huge statement in a restaurant town like Boston. You can do a lot better than North 26. Go somewhere else.
