My husband, 9 yr old son and I recently spent the 4th of July weekend in Boston. We stayed in Cambridge, very near the Boston Science Museum and the "T" station at the Hotel Marlowe. We had a most excellent 4 days trying to see the highlights the city has to offer and family reunion activities. I'd highly recommend the Duck Tours if you want a general overview of the great places in Boston and are limited with your time. The trip will take about 21/2 hrs but well worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed all the foods, taking advantage of trying all the local favorites, (which you can probably find in one place in the Quincy Marketplace). Although it was warm, we did our trip totally on foot using the subway system and a 7 day pass. My son loved the Science Museum and the Aquarium and I was thrilled to see the Boston Pops rehearse at the Hatch Shell and see the spectacular fireworks on the Charles River on the 4th. So many wonderful historical sights makes me proud to be American!
I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with AAA Taxi Transportation. I made a round trip reservation online for a private shuttle for nine people for transport from the airport to our hotel. When we arrived at the airport, our AAA Taxi Transportation driver was already there waiting for us. On our return trip back to the airport, our shuttle arrived at the hotel before our scheduled pick up time and was ready for us when we walked out. Both times our driver was very friendly, courteous and professional. Prior to making the reservation, I had received a quote from another company for twice as much as what we paid for the same service. I thought AAA Taxi Transportation was very reasonable. After the service we received, it was far more than just reasonable; it was a great value. I would not hesitate to use AAA Taxi Transportation again.
