YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

I wanted to rave about Flour for a special order they handled. I contacted them to make a birthday cake for a friend and asked for an off-menu selection (red velvet). Not only did they gladly accommodate my request, their head baker personally made the cake and it turned out beautifully. It wasn't inexpensive, but ask yourself: Are there people in your life who mean enough to you that you'll order them a birthday cake, but not enough to have it done right? Didn't think so. When all was said and done, it looked so nice, we almost (but really...) didn't want to eat it. Fortunately for all, that was a mistake avoided. Everything from the lettering to the crumb to the taste was perfect.

Being a Bostonian, and having a grandfather that owned a pastry shop in the North End when I was a child, I can honestly say that I have never, ever been disappointed with Modern Pastry! The cannoli's are wonderful, as well as all the other Italian pastries. Everything is fresh, and has not been sitting in the fridge for hours. They also managed to incorporate some American Pastries/candies that are equally delightful. It's not a tourist trap like the other's. If you want an authentic Italian Bakery, then this spot is a must! Certainly worth the wait!!!

I love this place for a quick, affordable, fresh brunch. It has a small menu, but everything is great! Wonderful bread, fresh fruit and because you order at the counter, service is pretty fast. Their stuffed french toast and the toast topped with marscapone, fruit and honey are phenomenal. I prefer this to nearby Paramount anyday.

This is my second home! They have the best coffee I have been able to find and I am a picky espresso drinker. Their muffins, cakes and slices are delicious and their banana bread is to die for. Not only that, their sandwiches for lunch are delicious. Everything is always fresh and the bakery itself has such wonderful character. Staff are fantastic - always helpful and know the regulars' orders before they've walked in the door. Great to see a husband and wife team doing so well with such a great business.

I ate at Victoria's Diner for the first time this weekend. The service is good and the food was delicious. I had the Vegetarian Omelet and my boyfriend had an Omelet with Salsa. All omelets come with home fries (which were excellent) or grits. We ordered Strawberry and Walnut pancakes to share and they were enormous and by far the best pancakes I have ever had. I am huge fan of iHop, but this diner trumps them.
28.Sweet Tooth Boston

I visited Sweet Tooth last November and came back just before Christmas. Both times I had a very pleasant experience. Customer Service was wonderful and all my questions were answered quickly and completely. I don't understand why so many bad reviews but I also know how these things go. One person has an unpleasant experience and they want to draw blood. \r \r I'm not from South Boston, never been in the area until November because a friend recommended the place. I went in looking for a nice birthday cake for my daughter and came out with something amazing and sooo good. I first went to Montilio's for the same cake, they were rude, were not willing to show their creativity and artistry and they quoted me a price $50 more than Sweet Tooth. Not to mention Sweet Tooth's cake was bigger and just beautiful. \r \r I also like some of their other items. I'm not a chocolate person but I couldn't help but get a piece of chocolate fudge cheesecake (at least I think that's what it was called) yumm and also ""Grandma Lemon Pound cake"" sooo good. My only suggestion would be to have some sample portions for sale. The servings are just so generous you have to share. I guess that's a good thing.\r \r I haven't been back since Christmas but that's just because I'm trying to stay away from sweets till the holidays. \r \r Great place. I have no complaints.

Love the spanish latte here. I didn't like the bagels when I first went 2 years ago, but I think their pastries have changed since then? Anyways, I love their bagels now, and it's pretty cheap. The music is always original (I think the staffers get to choose the tunes), and the atmosphere is so funky and cool and conducive to some relaxing while studying. I think you need to know a certain password to hack the wifi, though). The staff is also SUPER friendly! However, they don't exactly hustle to get orders out, so give yourself at least 5-10 minutes to get your food/drink, even if you're not planning on staying.

Sure the cupcakes are good but i don't know about you but my favorite part is the frosting. This place has a little sample cup with Frosting Shots for $.50. OMFG\r hits the spot just right. You kinda feel like a jerk for only spending $.50 but you will be a happy jerk!
