So I realize this is drastically different from the other reviews here and that's because after reading the previous reviews my experience with Charter Cable and their branch office in Boone was drastically different. The phone call was handled by a native english speaker. He answered my questions with concise info and very pleasantly. He looked up info on my local branch so that I could take care of my upgrade to HD. From the information he gave me, I went to my local office about a half hour before closing time. The wait time was minimal, the lady who helped me behind the desk was fantastic and got me going out the door with a smile in about five minutes. I was expecting a nightmare and instead got a great customer experience. So Charter must be listening to its customers because the experience has changed dramatically.
