This restaurant was open on Christmas day. Had a wonderful meal and the service was great. All the amenities that you can expect without going overboard. The food was tremendous and they are not afraid to put food on plates. actually had to take some home. If there is a reason to go for upper scale service and food this is the place. 5 stars is too low for this place but that is all that is available.

This is one of my favorite resaurants. I love eating here because the food is always good, and I have only had one bad service experience. I have always had great servers aside from the one time. They are nice and on toop of things, and the food is always delicious! So good!

We had three couples from our family head to Tucanos to have their Mother's Day dinner. Our server, Trey, was fast and efficient, and most of all, fun! This was, by far, our best experience at Tucanos and they have the best in meat, seafood and their never ending Salad Fiesta.

I am often disappointed when ordering Prime Rib at restaurants. NOT THE CASE Here! It was a special night out and we were in the mood for a nice - GOOD dinner. We both ordered the Prime Rib. The regular cut was at least 1 1/4 inches thick. The larger cut had to be more than 1 1/2"" thick. They were cooked to perfection, but most importantly, very tender and well seasoned. The caesar salad had a great ""bite"" and complimented the meal well. The Alaskan crab legs I would pass on next time. They were a bit dry and lacked the sweetness that I was hoping for.\r \r I Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great cut of Beef and wonderful service.\r \r (If you're from the Seattle area, LS&B would be ranked right up there with Jak's in Issaquah. If you're not from Seattle, that's quite a compliment.)

Heard from the locales that this is the best Indian restaurant in town and decided to check it out during my visit to Boise. I was certainly not disappointed. The lunch buffet has an equal selection of vegetarian and meat dishes along with fresh Breads( batura and Naans) and the various chutneys. I really liked their ""Chai"". The service was good and friendly. On the whole it met my expectations for a lunch buffet at a good Indian Restaurant.\r The dinner was, however, exceptionally great. The service was stellar - the hosts really take the time to get your order right and try to ensure that you are educated about the choices you are making. I would recommend the Bombay grill platter ( for appetizer) - it will give you a selection of both vegetarian and meat choices. Also Shrimp Bhuna and Lamb Kashmir if you are in mood for some exotic tastes. There is a long list of vegetarian, lamb, chicken and meat dishes on the menu. \r All in all you will make a great choice in Bombay Grill

I almost hate to extol the virtues of the Reef at 6th and Main in downtown Boise; I would almost prefer to keep it for my own group of select friends and family. The Reef is a breath of fresh air (literally on their out door patio!) in Boise, Idaho. I have been to clubs all over the east coast and the Reef is up to par with a popular destination clubs on Long Island. It has a small dance floor but that can add to the party crowd atmosphere even on a slow night. The TIKI bar type ambiance is enhanced by the outdoor, 2nd story patio complete with TIKI torches and it?s own outdoor bar. I would almost call this club a restaurant rather than a bar since the food is something to come for by itself. We have had a great time at the Reef both on weekends and during the week. I?m giving this place a EUGE HIGH 5!

It's the only way to truly appreciate the place. One visit won't be enough. I am biased so take it for what it's worth. The great food is an unmatched value anywhere. I know this because of the cost the kitchen is given to work with. House made booze (1st on site Distillery/Pub in the U.S.) provides the extra cash to support this. Portions are very good to sometimes as big as Texas. Menu is extensive and easily broken down into apps, satays, entree salads, sandwiches/burgers & lastly entrees. The place is big & casual...no hosts, no reservations...ie act like you own the place...walk in and scope out the seat you want and grab it...The staff will find you so don't worry, you may be served by just one or eight people depending on the business. They are very knowledgeable and work as nice team. The Cocktail Program is tops in the city...Multiple award winning and has a menu and a Rolodex to back it up. The bartenders have all been there for years...no rookies here. Lastly, besides producing high quality Gin, Rum, Vodka & Lemon Vodka they make in house desserts like White Chocolate-Banana Bread Pudding and Creme Brulee (Flavor of the Week???) as well as Small Batch Ice Creams (Scotch or Hot Buttered Rum) spiked with booze or without (Vanilla) for the kids. It'll take you a few times of coming in before you can truly appreciate this Boise staple. I'd recommend becoming a regular like myself.

We met some friends there for a night out. Wow, fantastic food, we didn't leave a thing on any of the various plates we tried. I also enjoyed the ambiance of the place, modern and elegant. The service was fast and great, especially when you consider how very busy they were! For a chain restaurant, it makes a very good impression and can compete with other fine dining facilities in town. The prices are great too.

I had been here several times in the past and Every time it was fantastic. Great food, friendly service. Until now. I decided to have brunch with my friend, it was quaint as usual, until our server blew our minds. She immediately showed a bad attitude, she got both if our orders wrong, not to mention a side salad (literally half a handful of iceberg lettuce, a quarter of a cherry tomato, and three canned sliced olives) costs $3.99! The most pathetic salad ever for an outrageous price! After getting our food, we did not see her for 25 mins. We had to seek her out to refill our ice teas, and when she did come back she asked "how is everything?" Both of our responses were "it's ok." Any other restaurant server would have asked what was wrong when given an answer like that. No, she just turned around and said "ok" then walks away. When we wanted to pay, we got up from the table to go inside to pay, she walked by and said "thank you"...we both looked at each other and walked inside. Asked for a manager, and explained what happened. Much to our surprise we find out our server was the owner!! I told them to keep her behind a desk and not in direct public. I explained that we could have easily walked out without paying. No one seemed to care much. And to add while we were explaining this to the head server, seeing as how management was the problem :/, all of the other servers (4 others) were staring at us with gaping mouths. Yeah, last time I go there. "Everyone has a bad experience once in a while" the head server said, my friend and I stared at her with gaping eyes, you don't say that to a customer. You apologize for their bad experience. I'm not impressed. It may be a local Boise restaurant but unless you are an old couple or an investor in that business, get ready to be served by unfriendly people and eat mediocre food. This is going in my Top 5 worst restaurant experiences.

When we want Thai we go to Chiang Mai. Anytime we go to another restaurant, we cannot help but compare the food and service to this Thai Restaurant! The food is fantastic, overall the Yumnumtok is our favorite. This salad is made with beef, lemongrass, rice powder, mint, cilantro, onions and is marvelous! It is definitely spicy, especially after a few bites, and the cucumbers serve nicely to cool down those taste buds (Singha helps). The restaurant does not have a five star appearance, it is really a 'hole-in-the-wall' place, but you cannot go wrong with the food. Also worth trying, are the dried green beans, larb, potstickers. \r The food is also reasonably priced, about $30 for two with drinks.\r \r enjoy!

I absolutely love the ambiance in this place. The sushi is pretty good, but it's a little overpriced. Sometimes though, on special occasions, I'm willing to make the splurge to sit in all that gorgeousness. Don't think you can skimp on the tip, because the service is excellent too.

ADDICTING! Had a slice today for my very first time and it blew my mind! The people are awesome and the pizza was unexpectedly addicting, I could have stayed all day, and I will be back. They have a permanent customer with me. It was a perfect blend of everything. They know what they are doing, they should they have been around for more that 20 years! Thank you!!!

And he treats you well. Mr Chang gets his own fresh vegetables every day. Somedays, he is your host, cook, and waiter. And cashier. He plays classical music all the time, and you are surrounded by tons of lush green plants (which he takes outside every morning for sun) and a gigantic record collection. The food is delicious, and he charges very little for what you get. We're talking 5 bucks. It has a bit of the home made feel; some of the tables are card tables, some decor is home made, but you're there to eat. I've personally eaten all over China, and this is as close at it gets to the real thing. It's a little old, it's a little dated, but the food and friendliness cannot be beat.

This was my first trip to Joe's Crab Shack and I was greatly disappointed. The decorations looked like yard sale junk nailed to the walls. Also the smell when approaching the front entrance was horrific and should have been a sign not to even go in. I ordered the coconut shrimp which wasn't half bad and my dining partner ordered the fish and shrimp combo. We were served about six fries with our meals and upon asking about the portion size the reason for the shortage on fries was a new owner. The fish had no flavor whatsoever and the consistency of it was no good (much to slimy). The best part of the meal was my bahama mama so hat's off to the bartender. We will never again give this restaurant our business. If you are a lover of seafood this is not the restaurant for you. Actually, this is not the restaurant for anyone!! Please save your money and eat in. Wish I had. Total cost of our meals was around 35 dollars. What a waste.
