Safari Inn Downtown
We stayed at the Safari Inn this week and were very impressed with everything about it. Our room on the 3rd floor was huge. It had a large dining room table with fridge, and microwave. My husband appreciated the safe in the room. Very convenient. The King size bed was very comfortable. The linens were soft and a good quality. Our view was nice. Between the buildings we could see the mountains and it was fun looking out at the historical buildings. We were in town to watch the Steelheads hockey game. This was a perfect location. We walked two blocks and we were there. Lots of restaurants around the arena to eat at. The pool wasn't opened yet but the hot tub looked very inviting. The staff was kind and helpful both at check-in and check-out. The free parking was very nice and we had our choice of places to park. The room and hotel was very clean. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you Safari Inn!

Stayed here for two nights. The location was secured and the rooms were clean. The hotel is slightly outdated but the cleanliness, friendliness and pricing made up for the outdated hotel. I LOVED the giraffe in the lobby I actually hugged it when I arrived. I was there on business/pleasure. I did spend a bit of time in my room but also spent a lot of time exploring the outdoors. If your looking for a place to sleep, shower and eat breakfast after poking around Boise this place is awesome! The water pressure was good even on the third floor and I appreciated the bottle opener on the wall. The sleeping pillows are little wimpy. Will stay again if my adventures take me back to Boise!

Safari Inn Downtown
We stayed here the weekend just before the solar eclipse and we loved everything about this hotel. What a great value! The building and our room were very clean, the room itself was large enough for two people to move around in without running into each other, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the wifi worked all the time! I was a big fan of the free cookies served every afternoon! The location of the Safari Inn is perfect--walking distance to all of the downtown attractions and walking distance to a wonderful selection of restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

You cannot beat the location of this place if you are staying in downtown Boise. You can walk everywhere in the downtown. We were lucky to get in at all as there was a large music festival in town. The room was large, and although the decor and furniture were rather dated, everything was sparkling clean and comfortable. The wifi was flawless. We were there for two days. The breakfast was really nothing to speak of but there are a few great coffee houses very close by so that is what we opted to do. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Safari. Also the front desk lady was super nice.

My first thought was since this place is called Safari Inn it better take dogs. And it did. The pet charge was only $10 bucks (they are usually $25), the room only $70 and they gave me a $25 gift card with a list of about 50 places in town where I could use it. SWEET. Seriously, cool. The room was your average CLEAN motel room. I was extremely happy with the price and the downtown location. Oh and continental breakfast (the usual donuts & juice) went on till 10am which is huge for someone that usually goes to sleep around 4am.

Modern Hotel
I agree if you are looking for the best value for your money there are other hotels--chain hotels. If you are looking for a great experience and great atmosphere this is the only place to be. I didn't find that anything was lacking though--the room was comfortable, the bathroom was large, the wifi was good, the food was good, and the bar and was an amazing bonus. I felt good coming "home" to this hotel I was actually excited to come "home" to this hotel. It felt personal and welcoming.

I stay here with a friend at least twice a year and have never had a bad experience. The rooms are clean and pretty modern. Some look over main street with views of the Idanha Hotel. Saturday nights do get a little loud before 10pm in these rooms as all the cruisers take over downtown. This place is within walking distance of almost everything downtown. The Zoo, The Arena, BoDo, 8th Street, etc. Decent continental breakfast. Pool and Jacuzzi are clean and well maintained. Sauna, gym and laundry are a bonus.

This hotel is such a great place to stay in downtown Boise - walking distance to all of the downtown core so close to shopping, music, great food, coffee shops and even an art gallery. The parking is very secure and free with your room - the staff is great and very friendly and helpful. The room had a refrigerator and microwave so if you were staying for a few days, you could prepare food in your room. Loved the room decor - very modern and comfortable. Room rates are excellent - why stay anyplace else?

I would defiantly stay here again on future trips. My room was very clean, House keeping was super polite. My bed was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I forgot to check into my flight and went down to the office around 1130 pm the girl at the front desk, Amber was very helpful and polite and assisted me with the computer they have there in the lobby. There's also all kinds of things to do within walking distance from the hotel. This is the place to stay in Boise.

First time in Boise and found this affordable gem with no advance planning. Very comfortable room with nice amenities. Separate freezer a plus since traveling with food for a long road trip.Easy walking to downtown, river, parks, and bike routes. Great dinner at The Fork followed by a soak in the hot tub. Breakfast is adequate and a major plus is the 1pm check out. Extra time to see more of the city before heading out.

Just a moment...
