My daughter went her to have her hair color changed/corrected and the outcome was terrible. After $205 she walked out with wet hair and after she got home and dried it she was appalled. I contacted the owner the next day and was received a email from her with numerous excuses about the stylist. I now have to pay more money to have the disaster mess corrected. I asked for a refund and the owner said no. She offered a store credit.y daughter is visiting California for a family function and after seeing another stylist today this is what the experienced stylist had to say after speaking with her and observing her disastrous hair. This should not have actually been a color correction process as Amber's hair was not in need of a correction but a change. As any qualified stylist would know, clients often times do something to their hair and then change their mind, and their hair. What the problem is with the color that was completed for Amber is a laundry list long! Here are things that are wrong with her hair:- The brown that was used has entirely way too much gold in it, leaving her hair looking very copper (one could argue that she looks like she has "hot roots")- 95% of the hi-lights that Amber was left with are off the scalp by at least an inch, some areas are worse- The coloring is NOT consistent throughout her hair- There are tiger stripes in the front and back (both on what "should be" blonde and what "should be" brown)The fact that the stylist did not like any of what she was doing and continued to make faces throughout the process and continue to "fix" things that (according to her) "did not look right".... 3 hours later Amber left with wet hair (clearly the stylist had better things to do as her boyfriend/husband showed up and she wanted to leave). Not only was the picture that was provided initially for idea on what Amber was looking for not even came close to being what was accomplished, but she was embarrassed to go to work yesterday.
I have never been so disappointed with a haircut in my life. Was in a rush and Great Clips was on the way to work (the one on Overland, in front of Walmart). Terrible haircut by a very unskilled "stylist". Elizabeth if ever come across this post, I've already contacted Great Clips corporate and asked for your termination. Here is the email I sent Great Clips Corporate:"Went into Great Clips (8176 W Overland Rd Boise, ID) for a haircut on 8/21/2014 at 5:00pm MDT until 5:29pm MDT. My stylist was Elizabeth or Liz as the individual on the phone said (Elizabeth did not tell me her name and made no conversation beyond that of the haircut).First and foremost, when she asked what I wanted to do about my sideburns, I said to "straighten them out", she took that as no sideburns so now I have no sideburns. Second, the way she rounded my ears is too far from the ear itself and my buzz around my left ear is noticeably higher than my right. She basically buzzed around my ears when my sides were a 3, it just looks terrible. This haircut was meant for a very important promotion interview I've been waiting a year for, my haircut looks like garbage and I was so livid with this unskilled "stylist" I left immediately. She has no business cutting hair and needs to be terminated before she destroys someone else's hair. I have never been so disappointed in my life, especially on the eve of a very important day. I will never recommend this Great Clips and will actually began to go out of my way to tell EVERYONE I know to stay away from this location until Elizabeth is terminated."
