Harless, Helen H, DDS
I was very pleased with Dr Harless and her staff, they were professional, and compassionate towards my needs. Dr Harless did a crown on one of my back teeth, I travel alot for work, so its hard for me to schedule appointments. she told me.. I didn't have to wait 2 weeks to get my crown placed, she uses a machine that makes your crown while you wait. This was perfect for me. I expected a little sensitivity because i've had it with pervious dental work, before Dr Harless. Much to my suprise I had no problems! She was very gentle. My crown feels great! I would and will continue to recommend Dr Harless to anyone...Thank you for taking such great care of me.

Relocating and finding new doctors and dentists can be scary. I am glad to say that Dr. Harless and her staff ARE great!Everyone was professional, friendly, and efficient. I have "bad gums" and was thrilled when the cleaning did not hurt one bit.Dr. Harless decided on a maintenance plan that has been recommended for my gum issues in the past, and has been shown to work.I believe this is a great dental practice with a very knowledgable and dedicated staff.

Gary Lynn Turpen, DDS
Not a very smart or patient dentist. He was too much in a hurry to drill out the filling sufficiently before trying to break it out, ended up cracking one of my main molars. That tooth never hurt or troubled me in ten years until this doctor touched it. Horrible doctor, never going to him again. In addition the material he uses for filling is always the wrong shade, never matches the tooth correctly like other dentists.

Benchmark Family Dentistry
My search is over! Just found my new hometown dentist. Dr. Hunt and her entire staff is the most dental attentive and happy bunch I've come across in the Treasure Valley. If you're looking for a new dentist or just relocating to the area, I highly recommend that you stay away from the free visit dental gimmicks and go straight to Benchmark Family Dentistry. You will save time, money, and aggravation.

Hidden Creek Dental
Dr. Clark has been my dentist since I was little and I have never been disappointed. I go to Hidden Creek Dental regularly for cleanings and fillings. The staff has always been friendly and they have always taken the time to answer any questions I might have. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
