Jack City Fitness is an upper echelon of physical fitness in the Treasure Valley. The smaller gym atmosphere and welcoming trainers make you feel at home, and make your process of physical improvement revolve around you. As a hockey player, the strength and conditioning I've done in the three years at the gym has made me improve remarkably on the ice and in all aspects of my physical health. Jack City Fitness
Jack City Fitness is a great alternative to the large, impersonal, meat-locker-segue gyms in Boise and other cities. The facility is clean, well equipped and comfortable. The real differentiation is in the highly knowledgeable, consummate professionals that make up the personal trainers. My friends took me to see Marshall prior to this year's 1/2 Marathon I compete in, and it was great to have his input on injury prevention, last minute training technique tweaks, and future ways to improve overall fitness levels. If you're looking to step it up to the next level and become a well oiled machine go see marshall and company!

Body Renew
Not a company that I want having access to my bank account. Mistakes have been made on my account and when I get an explanation on how they will fix it they do something else without my knowledge or permission. It is always too hot in the gym. They do set the temperature down to 69 or 68 but the hvac's can't seem to get the place under 75 on days above 85 degrees. I believe the HVAC units in the strip mall locations aren't meant for a business like this. Makes it uncomfortable to work out.

Body Renew
You'd be better off jogging in the street. Really, it's expensive for what you get, the "24/7" doesn't apply to the tanning (even though my membership started out that way, the rocket scientist that runs it went to a "salon style". They also take in about $40k every July for facility improvements, but as far as I can tell they didn't do any this year. Serious lack of commitment to the customer among these people. Bad customer service.
