Harris, Jacob J MD
A dear friend recommended me to Dr. Harris. She has been seeing him since 1988! I did some research and finally just made the call. The receptionist answered and I started asking questions. She was helpful and answered all my questions. Getting an appointment was easy. When I arrived the young lady explained the procedure again and asked if I had any questions. After explaining to Dr. Harris what I was hoping for (sleep and concern of weight gain) he explained what he could do and how we can do it. Blood work, EKG, and sample medicine to see if it suites my needs and all for a very fair price. Staff gets an "A"Dr. Harris an "A"Pricing an "A"If there was a negative it is he's only open 3 days a week. But after 25 plus years in the business I guess he's rewarding himself with more time to enjoy life. Thank you Dr.Harris and thank you Samantha for making me feel comfortable and helping with my concerns.

Steiger Medical GROUP
HI everyone- its now August 2013 and I have had wonderful results with my primary rhinoplasty with Dr Steiger. It was amazing that I could even tell the week after the surgery that I loved my new nose. I am super perfectionistic and and my nose is perfect, it fits my face, ,the profile is super straight and it is convex, very masculine and beautiful. Dr. Steiger really does his work well and is in my opinion one of the most dedicated doctors I have ever met. I hope anyone with questions or concerns will feel free to contact me, as a physician and surgeon myself, I was really particular about whom I would allow to operate on me and what I wanted done. Dr. Steiger simply met every single goal. In fact I recently also had him perform chin liposuction to refine my chin a bit and I will definitely post photos once I have healed. Thank you :) Adam Koenigsberg MD FACS

Nathan E. Nachlas, M.D.
I've had ENT issues for a decade and friends told me about Dr. Nachlas. He's fantastic and I've had two prior surgeries with him before my balloon sinuplasty December 9th. I knew I was in capable hands, but I was little nervous being awake for it. He described what was going to happen during the procedure and made me feel really secure about it. The first 2 days after surgery I had a pretty bad headache and there was blood when I had to clean out my nose but by the third day, I was just so much better already. I'm very happy. I can finally breathe. Dr. Nachlas is a miracle worker!

I saw Dr. Nachlas a week ago. He treated me for an infection above my right eye, and did a Sinuplasty. Dr. Nachlas came highly recommended as I began to research his practice. I found his confidence appealing. He seemed to know what he was doing. He was confident that he could remove the infection, and he wasn’t uneasy about it. Dr. Nachlas is just cool and collective. My results are absolutely pleasing. There is a huge difference; I was in a bad shape beforehand. I will be recommending the practice in the future.

I saw Dr. Nachlas for a balloon Sinuplasty on May 26th. I can’t remember how I first found Dr. Nachlas’ office, but I had come here several years ago. Dr. Nachlas is the best. I am pleasantly surprised how smooth everything has gone so far, since my surgery. I was very fearful o f the procedure, since I have respirator issues, as well. It was a pleasant surprise that everything went so well. I am happy with my results. Certainly, I will be recommended Dr. Nachlas’ office to others looking at similar procedures.

I saw Dr. Nachlas for sinus surgery on my left maxillary sinus, as well as the front sinuses. My surgery was on January 13th. I found Dr. Nachlas through a recommendation from another doctor who had done a procedure on me over 20 years ago. Dr. Nachlas is really an excellent doctor. I felt extremely comfortable considering the circumstances of my needing to have surgery with him. My results have made me happy thus far, so I would gladly recommend him to anyone looking for a similar procedure.

I had a Sinuplasty with Dr. Nachlas on the fourth. Originally, I was referred to Dr. Nachlas’ office by a friend. If I was asked to describe the surgeon to someone, I would say he is excellent and his staff is very professional. I am extremely happy with my results, so far. My recovery process has been painful, but it was anticipated. Dr. Nachlas explained to me exactly what it was going to be like, so it was nothing unexpected. I would definitely recommend Dr. Nachlas.

I saw Dr. Nachlas for Botox and fillers about two weeks ago. This was my first time visiting his office after a friend recommended Dr. Nachlas to me. He was very kind, informative, and patient. Since I am a middle aged woman, I just wanted to look better, so I decided to come in. I am happy with my results and will definitely do these procedures again. My experience was great, so I will be recommending Dr. Nachlas’ office to others.

Bernsley, Curtis N MD FACS
Dr. Curtis Bernsley is truly an exceptional urologist and surgeon. He has been treating me for years, and I have always been very happy with his treatment. However, be prepared that you might have to occasionally wait in his waiting room. He usually stays on time, but he is so well respected that the hospital across the street often calls him for emergencies. If you have an emergency, you will appreciate this.

On May 26, I saw Dr. Nachlas for a Septoplasty. I found his office originally through online research. Dr. Nachlas is great; I had a lot of pleasure working with him. He was able to really calm me down when I was feeling nervous. He explained the surgery and the post-surgery steps. He really helped me out going through the process. He is absolutely amazing. I will be recommending Dr. Nachlas to others.
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
